My worst experiences were all from ICO age. I still cannot forget how much money I wasted on scammy ERC20 tokens released in 2017 which don't even exist anymore.
One of my other bad experience happened with wallet handling. One day my laptop's hdd was crashed, I lost every data I had, I was sort backing it up on cloud and external, so didn't lose all, but I still have some wallet files that have sort of low amount of altcoins (ERC20) which I lost passwords.

My worst experiences with the crypto market are so many, I'll cover some of my worst.
I have been involved in KICKICO, REAL project and currently these two projects are failing badly.
I spend most of my money on Oyster, which was removed from exchanges after the project's CEO voluntarily printed more tokens and dumped them. This project is in the development phase promising to bring low-cost distributed storage space.
My current bad experience is that Ethereum costs are too high for a single transaction and thankfully they have been falling for the last few days.

Here i am going to discussed worst cases. Because lot of people adopting to Crypto space and some getting more and some ended up with nothing.

back 2017 i have no experience and new so some execution not got timely.

My worst experience was Not exit at the correct time. there was a ICO it gave me 10X.  (6500USD) but i did not exit at the correct time so it went for 400usd.

I sent ETH to unknown escrow. 200$ lost. scammers

Not aware of USDT. Its a very bad experience.

Not concern about Technical analysis.

so today i have massive experience so i know how to play the game. Lets share experiences so enrich newbies knowledge.

Cheers
So speaking of the worst experiences. I would say that I have a lot of bad experiences. I am in crypto since 2016 and I did a lot of mistakes and lost a lot of money in this space. I earned good money and lost them in fake and scam projects and ICO. I wish I did not invested them in 2019's crash market. I was earning good money back in 2017-18 but then crypto market crashed and my earning stopped. but I had savings and if I played smart I would be good during these 2 years of bear market. but I did so many stupidity and lost all the money I saved.
right now I feel the old era is back again and the crypto currency is full of new opportunities again. and this time I would not repeat my mistake.

You forgotten to tell us how exactly you plaid the game this time. Did you invest in scams? Did you avoided them? What did you do exactlly.
Your post is basically useless, you only tell us you lost money four years ago in detail, but very little about today.

Worst experience in crypto? Well for one it is mostly has something to do with the Bounties I join and the experiences I get from joining in bounties. Most of the time it has something to do with me unable to do anything with the token or coin once they paid the said amount. You wait for weeks and weeks and their coin or botoken has not been enrolled on any  exchange. Such frustrating experience if you are going to ask me.
Probably a lot of bounty hunters have experienced this. Earning tokens from different bounties maybe too good to hear way back then but unfortunately, some of them turned into useless tokens because they weren't even listed on exchanges. There were also times that my sleepless nights from doing bounties were not even paid off because the one i thought that has potential to reach the market cap ended up a scam. I was totally hopeless that time.

Fraud. Rekt. Hacking. almost all the sad things I've experienced in cryptocurrency. I made it a lesson to be more careful and selective in investing or choosing a wallet.
remember your safety is important. don't be too stingy to buy a paid wallet or other supporting features that you need. it is also beneficial for the security of your assets or in investing

The worst-case that happened to me was the time I sell everything that I have in crypto due to losing a job and I need money to survive my everyday living. That time was the bear market, the market crashed. So I end up selling my coins at a very very low price. From that experience, I learned that I have to be financially ready every day so when I lose my job, I won’t be needing to sell all my crypto investments.

on which site you use an escrow because if its in bitcointalk your sure that escrows here are trusted and people here wont refer you to an untrusted escrow  .
even if you know usdt that time you wont convert much crypto because your mistake is you didnt pull out your profit in the coin that you invested but technical analysis could save you because you will have an idea if whats going to happen next  .
my own worst crypto experience is sold too early but i already corrected it now

Every member of the forum must have experienced the same thing, here you have detailed the mistakes that have occurred, many people are not aware that they are willing to save money in fake prizes, which are of course phishing, this is something we have to be careful with considering that the bitcoin rally is happening, there are many possible modes. phishing will continue on the cryptocurrency forum, we are here both remembering bad mistakes not repeated as in the previous year

Someone in the crypto world must have experienced the worst event. So am I. In investment and trading,
I've experienced it, also on my way as a  bounty  hunter. This is the  twist  of  life  in  crypto. If we've had
the worst experience, make it an experience for us to avoid in the future.

I don't have that experience, I just experience some losses like buying a shitcoins and never have a profit but I think it wasn't the worst-case scenario for me. We could really be experiencing this thing if we don't have knowledge of crypto and I learn that. Because at first, I was thinking that buying cheap coins will give me a huge profit but sadly, it wasn't the thing I experience.

That is why I suggest that we have to look and consider the market volume of a coin before buying them as it was the basis if that coins really have a better future or not. Otherwise, we all just ended like collecting dead/shitcoins.

Experience is the best teacher.

You wont really able to learn something if you dont able to experience it.It isnt really that needed for you to commit such mistake because you can really avoid that if you are just
sensible and always aware on how thing works and if you are really that type of person who do love to verify everything when in doubts then its really hard for you to be scammed.
Sometimes or shall we say that most of the times you own common sense would be the thing that would really be saving up yourself into these unfortunate situations.

My bad experience was crypto, how many times I was exposed to a ripper, at the beginning I got to know crypto, not to mention entering the fake web so that my assets in my wallet were sold out, every incident was learning therefore I was more careful in transacting and entering the web that had to link the wallet
I hope it really provides valuable lessons for you.
If you want to connect your wallet to a new web that is not widely used, it would be better to use a new wallet, not your main wallet, to store the assets you have.
crypto developments foster a new business ecosystem for these business people. that is what makes the development of the crypto community also very fast. It is natural that the first time you know you are surrounded by many rippers. keep transacting safely using third parties if it allows transactions that you do with other people.

Careful in a way that you'll be more responsible in keeping your balances.

You'll be careful and won't be confident that you will keep your assets onto the exchanges just as what's most of the newbies are confident to do. You don't stay your assets on exchanges.

And, you will always be vigilant and careful with the websites you visit and online forms that you fill up.

Learned from it and start imporving your knowledge, with the setup of this industry where there are many hackers and scammers around, you really need to be more furios, experienced dictates what are the next moves to take.

If you want to avoid another hack to happened to you, be more vigilant and always update yourself with good securities to use.

It's your money and it's your responsibilites to keep it safe and aways from thos intruders who loves bypassing securities and sucking  others fund.
If it's a doubtful website and you don't think that it's a good one, skip it and don't click any link that's attached to it.

The security will start with you and that's all you need to remember. Be resourceful and if there are people who have shared their experiences in scams and hackers, learn from them too.

Experiences of others are also good lesson to learn from them to avoid such situations.

I think the worst for me is my first breakdown all due because of my first big loss in my trading which is really hard to forget but right now, I am treating that experience as my best so far because I have learned a lot from that moment which makes me to strive hard on my trading. So far that is my worst experience and if ever there will be another thing to come, I am sure to overcome it because worst experience is a part of the process of being better and getting the best as well in doing crypto.
