Theres nothing wrong with the coinmarketcap, because theres a minimum requirement of trading volume before these new coins will be listed on the website,if theres not enough trading volume these new coins wont ever be listed, which is why it is more reliable to use coinmarketcap so that we can avoid these shit projects in the market.

I checked it out, there are a lot of coins that don't even have a website,

is anyone here that is part of that websites managment?

regards
I did not quite understand your question. As far as I know, Coinmarketcap adds only those coins whose trading volumes exceed $ 50,000 per day and doesn't evaluate other criteria for coins.

You are quite correct, coinmarketcap only adds coins whose trading is $50k and above. How can coinmarketcap add coins that are not or yet to be listed?

Theres nothing wrong with the coinmarketcap, those coins that werent listed yet still doesnt qualify as far as i know there are some specific marketcap that these coins should have so that they would be automatically get listed to the coinmarketcap, there will be some limit for these new coins which is why we shouldnt be bothered with these listings.

Yes, coinmarketcap focuses on the value of the coin and not on what forms of communication it has. Apparently, a website is not the most important aspect
As far as I know, coins that listed on Coinsmarketcap are potentially legit and passed them a platform and I think a website is included on that. When it is listed they focusing on the price value and volume. So, no need to worry if there's not shown website in Coinsmarketcap as a referral whether it is a good project.

so there are still countless empty scamcoins alive on it?

i mean those are distracting market attention from projects that are actually seeking to improve something

regards

No, not necessarily. As it got mentioned already, it requires min. trade volume (50k$) daily. This is a barrier most scam coins will not overcome. And they do on an ongoing basis some cleaning. But they do not do any checks, whether a coins might be a scam coin. Here you Need to do your own due dilligence.

Nothing wrong with it,those coins that are listed in the website are the top coins which has reached the standard marketcap thats needed so that the coin itself will be automatically listed to the coinmarketcap, and those coins are ranked based on the total marketcap of each coins,so those projects that were listed are surely got the minimum requirement of the coinmarketcap.
The coins that are on CoinMarketCap is not not placed in there because of their marketcap, they get listed there once they get a certain amount of volume traded per day ($10,000).

You should have named the coins that doesn't have a site you found on the coinmarketcap. I find it difficult to believe a coin or token  doesn't have a website and it founds it  way to coinmarketcap. How???

Coinmarketcap doesnt filter these coins in their websites, these new projects/coins/tokens are automatically get listed when a certain amount of marketcap has reached,so the coinmarketcap wont list coins that doesnt have good number of marketcap, for example the starndard is $1M befre these new coins got listed, when these coins hasnt reached the $1M the project wont appear in the coinmarketcap.

Why is their website so badly managed, and how can a new coin get listed? is this website dead?

regards
For a coin the main thing is that the code was written and not site. Also, I think that possibly making new sites, maybe have some other problems, but there are simply old coins that need to be removed from the site. There can be many reasons

jep site need some kind of "dead" link report

This site is informational. He does not analyze projects, but you want just that. For example, if you were interested in a project, and he did not have a website, or he just did not work for a long time. Correspondingly, you would say the opposite.

Coinmarket cap uses forms. You can fill every information about coin and they will add it if the coin will meet their cryteria of listing. You need proofs for coinmarketcap, you need etherscan address of a contract, chat and ann.

Creating a website is not crucial for a coin, but all coins should have website for sure, I think it is better to list all coins so that we can check all the date about coins and compare it with others.
What do you mean? are you talking about Coinmarketcap? but you instead discuss the website. it seems you need to understand more about what the OP means

Not sure how coinmarketcap does it, but I would hope that the site puts the onus on the members of the coin project to keep these things up-to-date... it's in their best interest to keep it updated.
