I agree with the gun control issue. Because guns are a modern weapon and extremely dangerous. Not everyone wants to use a tight gun control. To avoid the terrorists, the killings and the liberal shootings of some people.

gun control for me is important because civillian is not allowed to use gun but they can use for their self defense thats why we have laws for gun control

Would you agree that as time goes on the less jobs there will be in the future?
If yes you agree..Then more madness will come..people loose the plot when there poor..
Think what having no job can do to a person
So believe me all these killings in schools will happen more and more plus shopping malls it will happen in..
plus what your saying is if everyone had a gun on them then they could of shot that person..
well if everyone had a gun on them more deaths would happen..
like this say i pull a gun on you and you pull a gun out and start shooting what if a random person walks past and you shoot him too and kill an innocent person.don.t you care even tho you were protecting yourself because i tried to shoot you first.
Because this happens many many a time innocent by standers getting shot because 2 people had a dispute ..
See the whole point of banning guns is not to protect you alone its to protect the masses..
plus people say you just got to do checks I.E for mental people ..anyone can turn mental..
so how do you check that ..one day i can be making loads of money have a nice house lovely wife
The next day loose my job cannot pay the mortgage my wife leaves me takes my kids with her i turn to drink go down hill..
then think ar well this is a shit life go to a corner shop by a gun walk in a shopping mall shoot loads of people and then kill myself..
so easy done and this has happened many many a time
some people shoot there whole family if they loose there jobs because they cannot stand the kids growing up poor..
There is going to be a lot more poor in the future
So more shootings fact if you make it easy to get guns more of your people will die
Its a lot easier to replace goods not so easy to replace a life.

For me a gun, use only people in authority , for the self protection with license. You can control a gun if you use it in a proper way. A gun for the the criminals,  for self defense, or the heinous crimes happened.

Civilians who have guns shouldn't be allowed by anybody. What they should do is blast everybody who tries to take their guns away... mostly government people who try to take their guns away.

Civilians should be allowed to own guns for their own self-defense. Else all the criminals will be armed with guns and the civilians won't be able to defend themselves. But at the same time, the government must make sure that criminal minded people and mental patients don't have access to firearms.

Gun control is essentially important, I support gun control. Especially with the recent incidents with the shootings and gun related crimes,
it's becoming more of a problem since access and availability is wide. Owning a gun requires extreme responsibility, a heavy respect and
even fear to the gun because of what it can do. We need them for enforcement and protection.

Guns are made not to defend but they are created for violence, war and so on. I personally disagree with weapons because we should encourage the care and empathy instead of violence.

In my country normal civilians can't use a gun.only defense units like police and army can use a gun.I think it's the right thing.normal civilians don't want a gun and I propose for every country for ban using guns for normal civilians.I'm really surprised of heard about a child use a gun in his school in America.I'm a Sri Lankan and I am 22 years old.but I never touch a gun yet.

Gun control is very important..
Anyone who own a gun must have a lisence
 And dont let anyone handle a gun because gun is so dangerous it can kill anybody. Especially for those people who dont know how to handle a gun, a person who cant hold temper beacuse when u cant hold your temper and your holding a gun,you can kill anybody. For those who iss minor..
So we need to control gun beacause gun can kill.

I have a gun. I have passed several tests, until i get a license to carry gun. It lasted for few year and then i should pass th tests too. I think, it's right not to access to have guns to everybody cause of wide spread of mental disorders. But in fact, we should have the defense method, even those who have some mental diseases. it is a dualistic problem

gun control should be implemented because some people in some countries can buy guns like buying a candy from a store.. so they have to regulate it so that violence in the street would deminished.

It should be controlled because many people do abuse it.

An armed society is a polite society.

I think that there are too many of them in this world. People think that the weapons are safer and start buying it. And so everyone. And in the end it turns out that really when every second person has a weapon, it is safer that you have a weapon. But still it's kind of crazy.

Makes it seem like gun control is really about people control.  If you want to have your way with a population, first take away their guns.

My opinion on gun control has only been strengthened. M-16s, AK-47s, high-capacity magazines have no business in the general population. They should have been outlawed years ago.

I have not changed my mind. US needs to register ALL guns.

In my area people still sell guns on facebook, at gun shows, out of the back of their truck.

It is insane - people simply do not need a gun unless it is for sport (like skeet shooting) or hunting for food.

There should be no gun control for citizens. We need to have a talk about disarming our government's nuclear weapons and getting the other nations to as well.

Let the government decide who can and can't have guns legally while criminals go ahead and get their guns any old illegal way they choose? Something doesn't quite seem right with that.
