Watching on american society i would say that it shoud be banned, or at least the rules of getting guns should be much more strict. All the countries which has free gun buying policy has problems with shooting, so the answer should be clear for us.

Gun's are not problem. If someone want to harm people they don't need a gun. They can do this with home chemicals.
But Guns make this easy and fast. Goverments makes this more fast with war planes and nukes.

The more the weapon is legalized, the more people are killed from it. Weapons should only be in a certain group of people and be kept under lock and key, and if this is ignored, then this should be punished.

there's a saying that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. i think the government should find a to reduce the use and ownership of guns. a gun in the hand of someone that lack self control is dangerous to the society.

It is important to regulate the possession of firearms. Guns have the capability to harm of even end someone's life thus there should be strict rules and regulations that should clearly state the do's and dont's of its use. Not all are responsible and could use it properly.

Besides, the Bill of Rights was set in place to limit Government. Amendment 9 and 10 show that we have all the rights we always had. If we would simply use what these amendments say in court, without using the amendments themselves, and add the jury stuff that the 6th and 7th Amendments say, we could put down any Government rebellion against any of our rights.

People have shown themselves to be kill even with trucks ramming people in the streets, as you said when a person conspires to do something evil there is little than can really stop the, from doing it. Guns is not the problem at all, wicked humans are the problem.

You guys can take away guns once you have a constitutional convention and amend the constitution to take away the right. In other words, it's never going to happen.

If someone wants to do something bad, then we have all seen that he can do this with cars, trucks, etc.

I think guns should not be prohibited, however the exams that allow people to have it should be more strict. In some countries it's harder to get driver's license than gun permit. It should be inside out.

Nobody can stop all the criminals who have guns. Even with a nation full of good cops, some of the criminals will find guns and do harm. It will always be like this.

Often it takes law enforcement hours to get to a crime scene. Do you want to wait hours for protection? You'll be dead by then. And so will your wife and children and friends that are over visiting.

If that's what you want, go ahead and forget about having a gun. But some of the rest of us want immediate protection. And the only way we will get it is by having our own guns.

If you cause gun control to be implemented, you are a criminal... even if you never lay your hands on a gun. Why? Because you are giving the criminals the ability to harm people who would have protected themselves if they were allowed to have their own guns.

You are criminals for even suggesting that a person not be allowed to protect himself and his family.
