Guns are really a way to end one's life. They are made to kill and you are correct about that. Guns have been a part of a country's economy. They also thought that having more gun's is a way of securing one country. Gun bans is one law that you can control guns with. They can correct everybody that is not following this law. Specially in holiday seasons, they implement these kinds of law to lessen the number of people that is killed or threatened by guns.

I also think that, we must stop making guns. Not everything can be resolve by peace talks and contracts but im still sure that there is another way of communicating with each other without harming one side.

I believe that weapons should not be accessible to all. The human thirst for power can provoke the use of its weapons for very different purposes that will harm society.

The U.S.'s 2nd amendment recognized just this phenomenon and attempted to deal with the problem by giving society the tools to fight back if it became necessary.  An armed population makes it more tactically difficult to perform certain governing operations such as genocides and population displacements/replacements.

The downside is that in response, those who 'thirst for power' have shifted to more subtle methods than, say, old uncle Joe Stalin.  Don't forget to get your flu shot.

My opinion is that only the governing entities should have guns. No guns for personal safety/defense (??), no guns for hunting, no guns for fun or whatever. A gun is not the only thing that one can use to take somebody's life, but it is the one that is easiest to use. So, no, nobody other than the governing entities should possess guns.

Gun control can help to lessen crime but cannot totally stop it.For me the main problem having crime is poverty.People can do crime even without guns and some authorize person with guns can do crime also. Here in my country some policeman use their guns not to protect civilian person and for their duty ,unfortunately some of them use guns for their own sh*t things.Gun is a weapon/firearm,for protection or saving someone lives, for civilian or authorized person still crime is everywhere,we must learn to protect ourselves with or without gun.

My ideal set of law according to firearm is like how they do in Japan. Becauss the weapons law of Japan begins by stating "No one shall possess a firearm or firearms or a sword or swords", and very few exceptions are allowed. Citizens are permitted to possess firearms for hunting and sport shooting, but only after submitting to a lengthy licensing procedure.

And there is separate licenses for hunting, sport shooting (a.k.a. target shooting), self-defense, collecting, and concealed carry, with different sets of requirements, permissions, and responsibilities.

Japan is a highly homogeneous and high iq population while the USA is not.
What works in japan does not work in the US.

In my own opinion there must be a total gunban only the authority has the right to own a gun of you given the chance to the civilian to own a gun for me that's a big mistake you will see it in Japan there are one of the peaceful country on earth...yes we could say that the civilian must have guns for there security but many off them giving extra brave especially if you experience to be bullied..saw much better that we don't authorise the civilian to own a gun..if you want gun joint the military..
For me gun is for authority only...

Then you shouldn't be allowed to own cryptocurrency. Funny how everyone jumps on a libertarian idea of decentralized money, but wants to limits another person's right to defend themselves. No bureaucrat or government official speaks for my individual thoughts. I as an individual decides what I need for my own protection. Why is freedom of choice so hard for you to understand? Have you been kept in a cage like a dog for too long?

Of course it all depends on the place where you live. Maybe this is the most criminal area of the city and you need to defend yourself. But the control over the weapon should be unequivocal. How many abnormal people go around, and sometimes even you do not know who is before you.

In order to see the effects of gun control why dont we compare one country with strict gun control laws and another
where there are loose laws.
Many of us would use the australia vs america comparison. Where no one in australia are allowed to carry guns, its a miracle that no one gets shot due to gun violence.
America is a different story however and the las vegas shooter had tons and TONS of things to work with..

The history of our country is not what I am refuting, or even speaking to. What I am saying is that regardless of our history there is an issue with firearms in our society, and there is empirical evidence to support the United States, among other countries has and continues to have a problem with, the use of firearms. Historical facts can surely tell us that they have been abused in the past, but should be not be acting in the interest of self-preservation of mankind, and if not our fellow countrymen?

This is why the United States doesn't hail to the Queen. We are free, and you're submissive to bureaucrats. Why do you trade/own decentralized currencies? Why not only hold your government tender?

I am PRO GUN.(People Responsible Owner of Gun) controlling Guns needs Controlling Gun Owners..Government must have the Guts and Balls to have tight laws for before someone can own a gun..Guns is not just a candy that can purchase anywhere.

Instead of that large paragraph, you should just say you want the Government to control the people.

Where is this sourced from? I firmly don't believe that comparing historical genocide to the EVIDENT gun issue that is ongoing in the USA. I am not challenging the 2nd amendment rights or freedom. I am not disputing a citizens right to a gun if used properly and responsibly. What I would like to say is that it should be acknowledged that there is an issue, may be then there could be movement towards a solution. i am not going to quote a number of sources with facts about gun deaths in violence globally if you are unaware then look it up you'll be shocked! I live in Canada and have in different provinces and own a multitude of guns cause I am a hunter. Our gun laws are not intense, does not deny anyone guys to guns unless it's found they are unfit to do so. I hope everyone who reads this forum and the news that we can hopefully in the future come to a mutual understanding that guns should be a tool used and only accessed by those who are deemed responsible to do so.

Too bad your native Indians, you know the one you took their children from and put them in your schools, forcing them to forget their thousand years old culture, did not have guns to push you away my dear "I live in Canada"...

Where is this sourced from?
That their culture was 1000 years old before you took over their lands you mean? I can't. Nothing is left as proofs. You owned the guns, not them.

Guns should be legalized in our country, because times like this where almost every thieves and robbers has guns. We all need to have something to fight them and not just wait for the police to arrive.

another shooting incident just happened in TX, maybe stricter law should be passed for gun control or more programs for responsible gun ownership should be made.

You must hate freedom. It's not up to you, or any bureaucrat on what I need to defend myself or my family. This is why the USA is and always will be, the most free country in the world. The only Amendment in the Bill of Rights that ensures you have all the other rights listed, is the 2nd Amendment.

This isn't rocket science
