It is very simple, as soon as i get enough price for my coins, then i will sell my altcoins.
When I will get enough price, then I will sell them.
I don't think there is a particular formula to sell your coins. You just have to consider the market conditions if selling them will favor you and fetch you some profit.
I prefer holding a long time than day trading. Most of the time, I sell when I got a new ATH of an altcoin or when a bullrun starts. Although, sometimes my assumption goes wrong and I lose a bunch of money. But, most of the time, I get success.
This year your assumptions will go wrong even though your approach isn't wrong. Strategy is reasonable but strategy implementation time is important, this is the cause of mistakes this year.
I'm quite a patient person, so when it comes to my coins having low value, I tend to just ignore it and work for more coins. Although, I still check it's value weekly, and whenever I see even the slightest increase in it's price, I'd grab that opportunity and sell the coins that I intend to sell. I think it's actually better than getting nothing at all.
It's Depends how much I have gain, I mean I will sell it when i have 10 percent profit, and how about if the altcoins i hold the price are falling down, I will keep it, but I will sell it when the price drops 5 percent from the price i bought first
When the target we have done is achieved. sometimes when we hold it certainly has a target when it will sell it. as I have said at the moment the price is down and we must hold it. determine the price when you will make a sale
Agreed. You have to plan your actions in advance for any outcome and start from the action plan. So you minimize the risks.

I think the right time to sell a altcoin is when it has reach your desire level of gain and you are at least making some gain out of it and not at lost

but sometimes for those who are very greedy they are not too satisfied if they only get 1% profit . and in the end they will sometimes lose more because of being too greedy

when you want to buy a coin you should have the desired price target to buy the purchased coin, in my opinion the right time to sell the coin you have is when it has reached the desired price or if it is difficult to achieve the desired price, just sell when the price the coin has exceeded the purchase price
It was a time but we did not know and I believe now it is very late, I am very tired to looking for the price and trade the bitcoin because of this I am just wait to the new move. it's really hard to know when to sell, you just need to keep an eye on the altcoyin price. If you bought at a low price, and the prices for everything have grown, do not be greedy, sell. Then you will be in a positive territory.
For me I take my profit little by little, when ever the coins make a major increase in price, I will take like 10% profit and i will wait again, if it increase again, I will take another profit, that's how I sell my coins, I don't normally sell off all my coins.

It's is the best time to sell when the graph shows the peak of the current price reach and the green buying orders are continues to buy it is a good time to sell and wait for the dump again.
