Well for all the crypto enthusiasts they really have that what we called the green period which will definitely gives you twice or even thrice profit and base on what I have seen the best time and that green period is when the fourth quarter of the year approaches that is the best and right time to sell all your altcoins.

Just wondering if ya'll have a typical formula you go by or a certain X percentage profit or loss.

I've been playing around with coins for just under a month now. $23750 total investment and currently up just under 10k in profit. One of the coins (IOTA) has gone up about 288%.  Obviously it would suck if it crashed but it would equally suck to sell if it continues to grow.

Just wondering what a lot of you folks do. I'm considering investing another 25 or 50k into coins. Ideally I'd like to net 15k a month off them but I know that may not be realistic on a monthly basis.
It is best to immediately set the price at which you want to sell the coins and as soon as the price rises to this value it is better to immediately sell the coins.  And do not be greedy.

The time to sell crypto is on your hand and it is depend  on your judgement, we can't  predict the exact time on when the altcoins to go up or down, it is on your limit to see if you already gain profit then that's the time to sell.

Possibly the majority of prices at least for this month might have uptrended more vigorously as for alternative chains but at least these bulkiest unloadings could be completed for the quarter bringing the arena for uptrends for lots of markets and holdings perhaps.

The time of sale of altcoins in plus has long since passed. Now it is not important, when to sell, still in the negative.

As long I made minimum of 10% of my investment or when I make x2 or x3 then I sell because holding for much can make you loose your profits again.

When you make a profit in your investment strategy, I think you can all sell it, and you don't have to wait for the highest price, because maybe the price will fall in an hour.

Monthly income on trading is possible but not fix depends on how much the price increase the price of the coins that you hold.
I sell my coins once I think my profit is good and even it's good I still hold some to earn more money.

All according to the strategy and areas of resistance. How can you buy an asset without creating these zones and without developing your personal trading strategy.

If I hold a coin for a short term, then I wait when the price will rise by at least 30% and then I will already sell coins.  Do not be greedy.

Altcoins prices really depend on bitcoin price. Therefore, I look at bitcoin chart first and predict the movement of the market before deciding to sell altcoins.
As bitcoin moves down, altcoins will move down too.
It's usually not a big deal if you keep an eye on the market. You will understand perfectly when people have purchased a token and when they will sell it. So you can predict the top point of the token and sell it at that point. Count on bitcoin of the type "he stood up now and my rise up" is not advised. Since there are also big players who will sell tokens faster than you and you will be left with nothing.

This is strictly based on trend analysis. In my own case, I try to analyse the market to see if the coin I'm holding has been overbought. Once I see it is already overbought or it has crossed my overbought line, I sell of immediately. I use indicators like MACD and RSI for this.

I am new to the amusement. Be that as it may, to me it sounds right to offer a portion of your coins yet not all. Imagine a scenario where the coin begins to move when you offer and you lose benefit. Or on the other hand that the coin may develop a whole lot more. And afterward you will lament that you didn't keep a portion of the coins. Offer 50-60% and keep the rest is the thing that I would do.

Getting into a coin can be an easy task  but knowing when to come out in profit or loss can be a very tricky task most especially for beginners and the less experienced traders and investors. Greed can come into play and not allow you to cash out with some profit when you are supposed to and fear can also come into play and make you cash out in loss only for the market to recover afterwards. It's a personal decision which requires some mental training and time to master.

It is simply for me if the price of altcoins is higher and satisfy my preferences then i know that i will gain more profit if i sell it,then there is no reason not to sell my altcoins. But if i see market is in red i will continue holding my altcoins even it takes too long because i know it will increase soon and i am going to wait that time no matter what happen.

I think everyone will sell the coins they have if they feel they have gotten a lot of profits but not everyone will do that because some people are very greedy and will sell them when prices are more expensive

It can go in two ways: if its market value is continuously hrowing making the investor satisfied at a particular price. selling is advisable; If the market volume is low and there's no signs of increase upon being listed, I think it is also a sign to let go of a token because it will just be a waste of time waiting for a long run but would only end up being disappointed. But still, selling will depend on the investor himself.

It all depends on the situation on the market.  If the market is still not fully recovered, I will wait until the market recovers and the price grows significantly.
