Normally the intension of every gambler is to ensure they have made money through gambling, and most of time a gambler doesn't know what pushed him directly into gambling, so therefore I believe that gambling is all about luck and when you started to pursue your loss that means you're encroaching to be addicted

Gamblers that claims that they do not know what pushed them into gambling are lying because everybody has a reason why they started gambling. For some gamblers it could be because they wanted to make more money because of the money they have is not enough and we can all agree that money does not do us. No matter how much we have, we always want more and this is the reason gambling has alot of user because people always want to make more money and although we keep losing when we are gambling, we will not stop because we think we can be lucky the next time that we play. Alot of gamblers are guilty of gambling with emotions therefore they will always lose until they learn to separate emotions from the game and just play knowing that the odds is against them.

It's our nature, really, speaking about wanting more, and there is nothing wrong with that. It's okay to feel guilty because of the actions that were done because of greed or emotions. But it's great if a gambler sees through those situations and tries things differently afterward. That's the experience that you cannot buy or have other than by yourself.

In some extent people don't know what means them to be addicted in gambling, is obvious that getting addicted in gambling is when you're inquisitive to protect your loss or to recover your loss, which if you don't want to be addicted you have to abstain from such thinking so that you will not such act of when you get loss today you think that tomorrow can make you to recover what you have loss

As I said before we have to learn how we manage our gambling and understand that wining of gambling is all about luck not by consistent gambling, and let us eliminate such intension of pursing our loss

Zero percent of emotion should be used in gambling or making any important decisions. Emotions never make good decisions. Intelligent people always control their emotions and do not take any decisions out of anger. If you are overly emotional and this emotion manifests in your gambling then I would suggest that you first learn to have full control over your emotions before taking such risky actions. The point is that you have lost money gambling and then you impulsively gamble more money which is a foolish decision. Smart people will stop there and wait for a good time without betting more money at that time. The more control you have over your emotions, the more accurate your decisions will be and the more successful you will be.  Sometimes emotions seem to be the greatest enemy of a man.
The thing is that everyone has data from birth due to genes, and if our parents were emotional, then we will most likely be like that too. Another thing is that despite this data, we can train our emotional perception in the game. You can try to control your emotions with your mind as much as possible, of course, this is very difficult to do and is only available to those who show persistence and willpower. I even see for myself how emotional I used to be and how easy it was to get me mad in the game, but at the moment I have learned to control it so much that I do not experience any problems with it now, even if I lose several times in a row.
When a child is born, it comes into the world with the combined genes of the parents, so the child is more likely to be like the parents. But the future behavior of that child depends a lot on how the child is raised by the family after birth. As long as we are children it is natural that we have no control over ourselves but from the time we learn to understand but we have to find the difference between good and bad. If we realize that because of being overly emotional we are suffering everywhere or we are not succeeding in some areas, but we have to control that emotion. It is not a very difficult task, people can change everything if they want. Those who try to change can change themselves, but those who do the same thing over and over without understanding everything cannot control their emotions at least.
If we do not change even after knowing everything by ourselves, then we have to suffer the consequences of our decision. Emotions and reality are completely different and it is foolish to see it in one way. Many cannot come out of this emotion. When it comes to gambling, there are many emotional gamblers among us who prioritize their emotions and as a result lose. The most important thing is that when they realize they shouldn't have been gambling with emotion but they are making the same mistake again later. Of course the gambler must understand what he is doing and what he wants.

Gambling is a mental illness with serious consequences. Along with economic losses, gambling causes serious deterioration of mental health. Therefore the protection of mental health requires freedom from gambling addiction. But if you want to gamble then set a certain time and amount so that you have a situation where you can control your emotions even if you lose. Also i spend time with friends and busy myself with new activities to control my emotions after a loss so that my bad behavior does not spread beyond the family.
the most important thing is that you have fortified yourself with knowledge and understanding of what you can do and what you should not do. so when you play you will not be lulled, even when you are in a losing situation.
the real situation that makes you closer to addiction is victory. so when you win more often, it makes your psychology being played. and if you lose, then you will fall into gambling addiction.
the mental health you mentioned is related to how far the gambler falls into addiction. we know the risks, and we take those risks. we should have prepared ourselves mentally to fight the emotional pressure that the gambler will get.
Correct. I think many gamblers would agree that victory is also the path to addiction. It's not just the losers. When you win, greed comes and your brain tells you that you might be lucky that day so you will continue betting until you deplete your wallet that makes you think that you just got unlucky for a little bit and so you will deposit more to try again.
But that is where it goes wrong because what's next to it could be a number of losses that will be harder to come back. Then, a gambler will probably end up as a gambling addict after biting that kind of trap. It's an emotional swing that will be difficult to control so we must always set a budget for the day and stick with it no matter what happens.

Self-discipline is key Wink Winning is good, but being able to appreciate the prizes you've got for yourself is even better. To have the ability to look at the odds and only then make a decision.

Yes, of course, as you said, everyone who cannot control their emotions should not gamble, but unfortunately not everyone knows that they have excessive emotions, and also not everyone knows from the start that in the end they will be emotional when they lose.
So in my opinion, it is better to re-evaluate yourself, simply if from the start you are unable to accept defeat, then it is better not to gamble at all, because the inability to accept defeat is what causes emotions.

I do not think that it is natural for a gambler to experience emotions when they lose, because after all, from the start it is clear that defeat is part of the game that can happen at any time, so the point is that it is better to fix your risk acceptance, emotions will only come when you are unable to accept defeat.
I think before they gamble they will think that everything will be fine besides it will go according to their own expectations. but the reality is different when the results are disappointment there they are emotional because the results are not in accordance with their expectations, and of course this is something beyond their minds as you said that not everyone knows that they have excessive emotions and do not know that emotions will occur when the results are disappointing.
what you said is right, it is better to evaluate yourself first by looking at yourself, can you accept results that are not in accordance with expectations or not, because that will determine everything besides we do not know our emotions can be held back or not when something does not go according to expectations but it is natural for us to be emotional when everything is beyond expectations because that is a natural human attitude, but what must be considered is that we must be able to control our emotions so as not to make us take actions that are high risk, especially if we cannot fully accept the results that occur well.

I cant recommend much, as I dont gamble to earn. I do get disappointed a bit when I lose, that is normal, but I dont show much emotions (negative) when loosing, that would trigger spontaneous bets. I cant give much recommendations to emotional gamblers. I can suggest only to play slowly, maybe even make a pause after a series of losses, or focus for a while on something less stressful. Even a simple action like washing face with cold water help to calm down and be less emotional.
Whoever cannot control his emotions should not gamble when he is emotional because that can lead to huge losses, if you are gambling and losing it is a norm that you will become emotional, at that point it is good to stop playing and go on a break if you must still play on that day. Personally, when I get emotional I don't gamble anymore till the next day.

It is when we are free with our minds and happy that we will enjoy gambling and that can also bring luck to you because you are enjoying the game.

Hey, guys! Are any of you emotional gamblers who often lose because you can't control what you feel? When you lose, do you tend to double your bets or chase your losses, driven by a pride that can't accept defeat? Do you consider this a problem? If so, has anyone here been able to solve this kind of problem themselves, and if yes, how did you do it?

I have this problem, and based on my personal experience, I find that sometimes I get challenged but not too greedy because I don't have a problem quitting when I'm winning. However, when I'm losing, that's where my struggle lies.

That's why I shared it here; I feel that some of you may experience the same challenges, and I'd love to hear your ideas or experiences on how to win this battle so we can enjoy gambling.
Yes, I have this problem too, but I haven't solved it yet. I can lose a maximum of 300 bucks, but sometimes, when the slot gives me nothing, I get unrealistic anger, which leads to higher bets and aggressive play. Sad

To be frank with you this approach won't do you any good, you have to work on your risk management and stuff. Like for instance the reason why you usually lose it when you endup with losses Is because you're making use of cash you can't afford to lose which is not a responsible way of gambling, you should try all means to discipline yourself from making such mistakes going all in , using amount you can't afford to lose or aggressive playing . So that you won't endup accumulating more losses In a long run , though there's no way to sto losses but still they are ways to reduce losses , by gambling responsibly.

As human beings we are, our emotions always come into play in each of our gambling bets results(winnings or losing). It's now left for us to have control over it or allow it to rule over us in our decision-making to continue gambling or call it a quit in our gambling activities for the day. But remember, he who allows their emotions to have a better side of them doesn't usually succeed in whatever they are doing at the moment. It's always advised for one to be in complete control of their emotions because that always gives them a better advantage to analyze the better step to take that will land them a favorite experience
Winning will make it addictive to increase the bet.
Losing will be emotional and want to make up for previous losses.

If the gambler cannot control emotions then all his actions will become chaotic because it is not with the calculations that he thinks about his steps, whether it will be good or bad.

I think discipline is also included in controlling emotions, so it is important for every gambler to have responsibility for it, because what I know is that gamblers leave it without direction and it will damage them mentally and financially.

That's a lot of money. Did you lose it all in just a day?
You are no different from other slot gamblers and I am also frustrated when a losing streak happens. Just recently, I played the Pragmatic Play games and wherever I go it's always a losing streak without any free spins coming out. I hated myself for picking Pragmatic Play and I should have just gone back to other slot providers than it.
I lost a good amount but thankfully I got it back in the NETENT slot provider. I did not actually expect it will be given back that fast but I was happy that it worked out just fine.
Don't do changes in the amount you bet, it will just speed up your wallet being depleted.

We have already discussed a lot that emotions are one of gamblers main enemies, but havent talked much how can a gambler learn or train to be less emotional and have a better self-control. It is clear that it all should come with experience, but as we are all different, someone can be a fast learned, and someone needs years and thousands and thousands to be lost before he learns something. How do you train discipline? Any suggestions you would give to fresh or inexperienced players?

After every loss or win that you consider a good catch or a pretty bad situation, don't rush into action to regain what you lost or to double what you've got, truth is, those are the moves that are awaited from you. Take a deep breath, consider your odds, your mood, your money to spend, and only then the decision should be made (that's my opinion). There is no point in the rush for glory or to regain it.

Diversify your risks, don't spend everything on one game, and choose 2-3 that you like the most, but not too much, it shouldn't embarrass you to play it or to spend your time in it.

What would you recommend?

I cant recommend much, as I dont gamble to earn. I do get disappointed a bit when I lose, that is normal, but I dont show much emotions (negative) when loosing, that would trigger spontaneous bets. But the whole point of life is to live it experiencing happy emotions. After all, we are not robots and those who live only with their brains but not with their hearts risk being productive but very unhappy people.
Therefore, you really need to live the way you described, but at the same time you need to sometimes give free rein to your feelings.
I recommend using extreme sports, traveling or computer games for this. These are activities that give us good memories, new topics for conversation.

Did you try to close your eyes after the situation like that and think to yourself, that, it's not really worth it to charge into the fight again? I feel you and I understand that it may be hard, but the lessons like that should be observed and learned afterward, not from the first try maybe, but looking into the future. The future should contain a better version of yourself rather than the old you, in my opinion.

When you are really that dealing up with gambling then it would really be just that normal that you do become that emotional on which it would really be just that normal that you would really be able to experience those tough situations on which you will really be having that kind of disappointment on the time that you would really be losing up on gambling. When you do lost a game then of course you would really be that disappointed and on the moment that you are on such condition then you would really be that become impulsive and on the moment it happens then this is where greed and addiction do kicks in.

This is why you should really be that careful on whatever decisions that you would really be making because on the moment that you do find yourself having no control over your emotions or with your mindset
then you are really that bound to experience those bad decisions just because you had made yourself that being too careless and being to rush up on making decisions which it might cause
up that huge loses even further.

I'm not greedy, but sometimes it really pisses me off when slots just don't pay anything, or when you lose, they give you a small bonus and then drain everything again. I just start to lose my temper. Angry

Difficult but can be done by practice, if you are focus and you have that kind of determination sooner or later you'll be able to manage to control your emotions, very helpful in all situation as you can figure things out the right when you don't blindly follow your emotions. There's a big need of good discipline and good practice as you have that competition inside you,

both lust and desire against your determination to control not to follow any kind of emotions while you are still actively playing to avoid any excess mistake and lose your hard earned money.
