I am sure that ICQ is going to die exactly when the exchange rate of the cryptocurrency will fall incredibly low and it will cease to be profitable at one point

Research ICO's is still what you should focus on even in the current state of the market. I've been actively researching ICO's and staying in contact with developers and their products. Even though most coins end up a little under their public sale price at release I still find myself to be at a substantial position even at the state of this market because we tend to get discounts on private ICO sales.

ICO's will not die it's because there are many programs that has potential in the people and also people want to invest in some ICO's because of the profit they will get. If you invest in ICO's you will get more future. But in the future ICO's will not die. My friends also said that ICO's wil not die and it's good to invest in it.

Block chain is the new direction of future science and technology development, and ioc is the source of funds to maintain blockchain technology.

The blockchain and ico that have practical applications will continue to grow!

The fake ico will be eliminated!
Yes, it is a convenient and very popular way of investing in young and promising projects. I do not think that in the near future something bad can happen to the ICO sphere. Perhaps in the future will be introduced any additional mechanisms to protect investors from scam, but ICO as a whole will definitely not die.

No, ICO aren't dying. Projects are just looking to take the easy way out when organizing their icos. So they're sticking to private salesto evade regulations. What they don't know is that they're indirectly killing their project by cutting off the crowd from the sale and selling tokens to only private firms and individuals. If the everyone who wasn't allowed to participate refuses to buy the tokens at outrageous prices on exchanges. It'll turn out badly. I believe soon, ICOs will resume to crowdsales.

I do not think that ICO will ever die, because more and more people are starting to invest in ICO and it make ICO survive.

Recently learned that more and more ICOs are closing deals through private sales and merely airdropping the coins. Will ICOs die, when will it?

I really do not get how you built up your question. But for the sake of it, I think that ICOs will not die as long as the crypto world is still running. People wil always start new ICOs and the reason would be either they see a problem that needs solutions or because they are eager to have more funds in their wallets and scam people. But whatever that reason would be, ICOs in my opinion will just increase more and more in the coming years. Let's just hope that scams get smaller chances on scamming people in the future.

I really don’t think ICOs will die. However, I do think the general structure of fundraising will change over time. I recent sign of this is the Gibraltar Blockchain Exchange, which is using a Sponsor model of ICO listing, which adds a higher level of legitimacy to the ICO, as the Sponsoring party has to stake a significant percentage of the fundraising endeavour.

I also think that security tokens will become the next hot ticket item in ICOs, but with that also comes KYC/AML requirements that many here on the forum tend to frown upon.

Long-term (10-20years), I see no reason why every company listed on stock exchanges around the world wouldn’t transition to a blockchain-based security token model. Many will simply swap stocks for tokens, but new companies wanting to list will likely go with an ICO instead of an IPO.

It is very early to talk about it, because we are likely to expect a spike in the market, which is likely to be followed by new ICOs.
The coins aren't dying yet. They seem to be getting much stronger. The coins will eventually have to go away.

A huge percent of ICOs are already failing. This because investors are not buying like they used to do. Imagine buying tokens that is worth $2333 only for it to be listed and it drops drastically to up to fifty percent of the amount you bought it at the crowdsale stage.

Definitely. Pretty much, when market blows up last year, a lot of fakes tried to take advantage of the craze. Now that the market had woke up, it's back to the fundamentals of looking for real projects with real products and sound business model. Plus the SEC cracking down on the fakes and none serious projects should pus some sense back into the ICO space. It's still a very rewarding and at the same time risky venture as it is.

ICO will definitely die if many companies are deceived by holding ICO so that it has a negative impact on every country and with most likely many countries will BAN ICO problematic project, in fact so good that every project that will come out has passed the rules and to invest in our ICO no doubt again, unlike today with a lot of ICO which actually makes us confused to choose it.

I think ICO is the same as Bitcoin will die if there is no more Internet-connected, ICO has become like looking for profit, investor and create a new concept, so do not be surprised if ICO still survive and there.

I will agree with you. Last time so many companies have good idea but can't get cap. Think in middle maybe one year and ICO will die, people didn't want to invest without good rewards

I do not think that ICO will soon die. On the contrary, I believe that ICO projects will be in demand and will continue to develop and grow quantitatively and qualitatively. France now wants to adopt a legal act that would regulate the ICO process and, above all, protect investors. If they succeed, this can serve as an example for similar regulation of ICOs in most countries and then these projects will grow in importance and popularity. Now, even despite the large share of fraud among them, ICO projects are quite demanded vseravno.
