In my opinion, after bitcoin, Ethereum is the best investment for long term because It has great potential to continue grow in the future and many token using ethereum platform. Furthermore, There are lots of promising altcoins in the market such as litecoin, dash, bitcoin cash where you can choose for investment purpose to give you good returns in future.

What do you mean? Aside from Bitcoin/cryptocurrency in general or just something different than cryptocurrency to invest? If it was not cryptocurrency then I would invest in real estate. 
In my opinion, Ethereum is still the most profitable coin for long-term holding besides the Bitcoin. however, if you really want to get the big profits, you should take the bigger risks by investing in some ICO coins. Here, you must be smart in choosing the right coins from ICO that exactly have the real ready products to be used.
i would suggest you to invest in ethereum, for long term period investment all we need is long term valuable guarantee. i know anything can be happened in cryptocurrency, but as my opinion, the possibility for ethereum to become undervalue or dumped to all time low price were very low.many new issued token or ICO using etherum platform, as the game changer of cryptocurrency i think ethereum has very bright future and will always have high demands.

I recommend long term investment into Ethereum, Cardano and NEO. Ethereum is the queen of the cryptocurrency market, it is a lot of ICO projects used, every day Eth has a huge trading volume. Cardano has the perfect technology, which overcomes many of Bitcoin's weaknesses, showing Cardano has good scalability. NEO is known as Ethereum of China, it has fast transaction processing speed, low transaction costs. I believe that NEO will grow in the future.
I believe in Ether, it must achieve its goals, the main thing is to believe in it. We will wait for the rise, time will show everything and put it in its place.

Aside from bitcoin the only thing that is good for long term investment is no other than the number 2 which is Ethereum. Because ethereum have the potential to increase further in the future. So if i were you I will trust Ethereum for long term investment.
I invest for the long term in ethereum and ripple. because I believe that both altcoins are very potential for the future. So I invested there for the long term. And I believe there will be an increase in the future and make the investment that I make successful.

Plenty of variety of alts on market to choose. ETH,LTC,NEO and other. You can choose among top50 alts for a long term, because those could bring you good profit in the future. Make sure to find more about those coins to choose which one is the best option to you.

ETH, NEO, XRP, ETC, XLM, ZXR. VECHAIN, ADA ... These are pennies that if long-term investment, it will bring the most profit. These are the altcoin I have carefully selected. And it was on my long list of investments.
If you want to invest besides bitcoin then I think you have to try on new altcoins, there is so many good project if you find a right coin then you can make a good profit from that coin.

Aside bitcoin, I will suggest you invest in ethereum for long term as it is also very promising and potential on hold because the price can rise very fast compared to other altcoin. Ethereum also have very good technology and professional team, it is safe, secure and reliable.
Aside from bitcoin, my choice is ethereum and EOS. Mostly i prefer Ethereum to invest for a long term, because i want to play safe and never want to loose my money in crypto. EOS is also a best choice these days, this coin is doing very well these days.

I think the best thing to do now is to invest your money on ETH because it could probably double your money for shorter time. ETH besides being on top 2 on coinmarketcap ETH also is very popular and it is being used as platform by most ICOs coming in the market.
Well, I will invest in top rank altcoins because we all knew that they have potential to grow in time like Bitcoin or even surpass it in the future. They are also popular now so many big investors chosen it for their long term investment and the community will also acknowledge them.
I think you should invest in ico just a little money needed and have a great chance to gain from here than investing in bitcoin
