I share your views here. And talking about you, are there many promising tokens and platforms you are now following and can recommend? I only have 2 or 3 most advanced ones I am aware of, so always interesting to get a real recommendation

I wouldn't say that we can be talking about all altcoins at once. From my point of view, much depends on the concrete platform/token and its particular prospects. And it is important to differentiate. Because again, only own and concrete analysis allows to get an objective overview

I prefer holding old coins though. My top coins are BTC, ETH, awc, xlm and I am recently holding one Defi project because of its product which will launch this August. So anticipating good returns from them. They look pretty good but not certainly sure but holding because they have activities soon.

As a fifth coin you can definitely pick stellar xlm, neo, nano, icx, atom, vechain or ripple xrp.
I highly regard all your four coin choices and i am sure they will grow nicely over time and 2021 is expectedly big for all good coins as market is gearing up for some parabolic moves already.

Many people from this community are not at all following their portfolio but they will simply hold whatever rewards they have got from bounty programs. Basic, very basic.

These are all massive cap cryptocurrencies, realistically even in 3-5 years they might only experience a 2-10x improvement at the very best.

If you really want to rack up the money, you should invest in a micro-cap coin that has the potential to climb into the top 100 or even top 50.

You can see a few DeFi coins have managed to achieve this lately, odds are a few more will also make it.

These can make 10x improvement in a much shorter time, which could then use to build your long-term stack in BTC, ETH etc.

If you go through some few pages back of this topic then you can find many people are doing the same. I hope they would not have bought such unknown coins and tokens but they might have earned thorough bounty programs and airdrops like you have mentioned. But regardless of how they got those coins/tokens, I am also just wondering why they are all still keeping them instead of selling for BTC or ETH. Some people are too loyal for the projects where they have worked but that loyalty definitely will not pay off them back.

not really true I think. considering how big their market capitalisation which means less volatile price or slow movement that's not suitable for "short-term" but of course the term itself is relative to each people.

Would like to hear why you are holding CUR and BLINK. I've participated in their bounty and sold tokens at first opportunity. And I was right to do it. Since distribution and listing, all what these alts were doing are falling.

You mentioning Blinked even made me visit their ANN topic and not a coincidence, I was the last one to post there year ago. Their social media are either silent or dead. Blinked shows 100% signs of being dead projects. I really dont understand why you hold them or hope Blinked will have a good value.

that looks like a good strategy but I should remind you that when you were buying it a higher price when you have another choice to invest your money into the potential coin and that means you have the more chance to get lost or it will decrease the percentage of your profit from your portfolios.
