Talking about coin that is good for the future, I guess the top coins will be a better investment for now due to the uncertainty in the crypto market it is better to settle for coins that have got product for now.

Are you kidding ? USDT is a stable-coin and its value will remain always $1.

Bitcoin is always the best for both kind of investment. If you don’t have money to go for altcoins, then you can stick to investing your money in Bitcoin alone. With Bitcoin the price can go up or down at anytime (that’s the risk) if you planned on short term investment, if you’re lucky the price might even go up the next day and you will make profit. Then as for long term, that’s the best thing to do if you can invest at the bottom price and hold it for long term, then be sure to receive a huge amount profit.

For xlm I also agree, he is a project that is continue to growing and in my opinion they are very consistent in its development for the long term, so making it a place to invest for the long term is very good in my opinion, maybe because the potential of xlm doesn't seem disappointing investors in the future.

For this, you should need to research cryptocurrencies and about their website, team, total supply, future plan etc. Then you can be able to take decision. I think ethereum and bitcoin both are good for future because these are proven.

We really can't know but this should be the right time for the making investment. Because nearly all coins prices are very very cheap now. If you check the ICO price and the market price you can see the price crushing. So if you invest now you would buy a coin with prices 1/10 cheaper. Check the project and if it still alive just buy their coin. In that case you would invest minumum and could earn in maxiumum if market makes its recovery.
