i think for long term investment you make an investment in thereum or bitcoin. they are hold for long term for a huge profit to emerge for investors at investors bearing. or you did rather invest in utility tokens since the market is up and down and this is the right time for investors to make huge investment and hold till the market booms in favor of us and then you make profit

Choose a coin that has a low price but has a great project that will have such a high demand in the future so that it will increase its price just how it is estimated.

Eyes run from undervalued and promising coins. There are about three dozen and there really is something to choose from. They differ only in price and in the risk of investment.
I would have to say Cardano (Ada). Stringently tested and with alot of updates and added features to come. It's already in the top ten market cap although it is relatively young. Massive potential.

nvesting in alt coins really takes time it will cost many efforts and sweat and tears, for me you just need to hold on and keep calm in using bitcoin, find alternative ways for the meantime in order for you to gain more bitcoin.
i believe there are so many altcoins in this market great enough for long term investment, and of all that, i will choose ADA for long term profit, recently the team of ADA are giving us positive news about their platform, the day we can use ADA more popular than ETH is not far, it can replace ETH with ease and defeat BTC in transactions speed and processing huge amount of transactions in just a seconds more than ETH. it is the most promising platform i will choose for long term investment.
When I invest for the Altkoy, I have a long-term investment. I have btc, eth and I added that the stratis in my wallet also excites. These coins are my choice for a long time, which, I believe, has a potential coin. I know that I can make profit for hodling and long-term investments.

For my mind hhe only long term investment is Bitcoin, especially after the test of 2X fork, which it proves that it can't be shut down by external pressure nor by implosion. alts arevlike fast fashion, one day it's the hottest coin, tomorrow it could be shitcoin.
In my own opinion and for me the best coin to invest for a long-term is the main coins because we all know that these main coins are more stable than those that are just new in the crypto world. Try to invest on btc, eth, ltc, bch, eos, monero and ripple.

I will go on ethereum, this coin has much enough xevelopment to reach close on bitcoin price. We can buy even 1 eth and hold for long time. Look how eth demand and use increase in crypto. All most all yransaction here can be done through eth and i guess price will follow also so great investment for sure
I think NEO is the main and direct competitor to ETH in near future. Perspectives of the etherium are confirmed by studies of specialists in the detachment. He has a great future. 
Ethereum and bitcoin still remain the best coins if you are looking to invest in the long term. Don't invest in new coins when you are investing for the long term because these new coins are the most likely to die out sooner because they do not have as much support as the coins which have already been here for a long time.

I would look at Fantasy Gold (FGC). A Masternode coin that is extremely low market cap at the moment. A great coin to hold for 2 or more years due to the fact that the ROI on the MN is phenomenal.
