Assuming you studied, prepared and understood the basics of this market! It's hard for anyone to point out to you what to buy! These decisions must be made by yourself. Anyway, try to find projects that can take back the appreciation of some time ago! Projects that continue with their strong and active development! For example, I do not own LTC and I have no intention, but it is an example. There are countless others as well.

This is a very bad idea to ask the opinion of complete strangers about where you should invest. Study the material on the topic, and ask questions about obscure nuances. This approach will be much more productive.
actually not so bad. when you are someone who just knows crypto you don't have good experience to choose assets for your investment. and I think I need advice and analysis from other people for my consideration in determining my investment.
If a person does not know how (does not want) to study projects on their own and on the basis of his analysis to make an informed choice that he has nothing to do in this area!

Ive never bought any coins before and am considering opening an account while the coins are low

How would you invest $1000 - 2000

Thanks

If I were you I'd probably prefer to divide any sum you have into many portions by 100$ and invest them step by step with limit orders in top crypto coins which could be stored with paper or hardware wallets. Most probably it would be comfortable for you to choose only TOP-3 projects.

I suggest Bitcoin. Why bitcoin? Because this coin is so good so far from other coins becauss it has a huge volume and other altcoins following the price on bitcoin either it's gonna pump or dump as a beginner like you its better to start from bitcoin.

I think that for beginners in the cryptocurrency market, you need to study the current processes very well and gain knowledge before investing.
If you have all this, I would advise you to invest in coins that have a good future and that have repeatedly shown themselves in the market.
For example, this is Ethereum, this top coin will bring you profit in the long term if you invest now.

Well, if for example you have 1000, then buy 15-20 percent now the cryptocurrency that you like , I would advise the top 20, then the coins are very strong and are unlikely to give you a minus in the future
Why invest 15-20% of $1000 in cryptocurrencies if TS wants to invest the whole amount? And to advise to invest in the top 20 coins is not very useful. It would be better if you offered some specific coins rather than general phrases.

investment in the cryptocurency is currently not good for inexperienced beginners, moreover the current bitcoin price is very volatile, but investing in coins that are really good is not a problem but don't invest too much for now

I would suggest BTC, ETH, LTC maybe half and then with the other half spend some time checking out some of the other alt coins out there.  I would stay away from ICOs and focus more on coins that are already in existence.

ADK, COVAL, CHBT might be worth a bit of your time.

I advise you to buy for example ETH or Bitcoin and watch, read the forum, read the thematic sites, you can better to understand everything and then invest in an interesting project in your opinion.
for beginners it is better to learn investment by buying Altcoin which is cheap but has good potential, like you mentioned Ethereum, EOS or Ripple and maybe so on. for beginners, experience is needed so that learning to invest is good, but be careful because for beginners you must know the strategy, so be careful not to get stuck and fail.

EOS and ripple don't seem to be suitable for newbies. for beginners it's too risky to invest in ripple and EOS. we must that the ripple is very vulnerable to manipulation and EOS is still inferior to ethereum.
so my advice is to better invest in bitcoin.

I think if you have a trading strategy, I think you can buy an altcoin that has a long future, for me you can buy ethereum, Neo, and ripples.
Buy bitcoin and you don't have to think of any long future.

Bitcoin is designed to run for long term basis and those altcoins where all riding's move.

I recommend buying ethereum and bitcoin. This is a coin for newbies who don't really understand crypto. btc and eth can be for long-term and short-term investments so it is suitable for newbies who are investing for the first time.

First of all I should say that I think that now is a good time to buy cryptocurrency because the market has already dumped and the prices are low. And for beginning I would recommend you to buy btc and eth because they are rather strong crypto

if I have $ 1000 - $ 2000 I will buy bitcoin and also some altcoins like ethereum. both are the most popular to date. I recommend that beginners invest in the top 5 coinmarketcap.

Now that we are in a bear market, take the safest investment by investing in the top 5 coins in the market, the reasons are obvious, community support, big volume great developers and potential price increase.

Focus on the bigger market caps and spread out. Go for projects that are truly decentralized, with open access. Buy things like Ethereum, Neo, Waves, Ontology, Basic Attention token or Zilliqa.
coins better than token.if our coins developt their own blockchain i thinks it have huge potency price in future.usually investory trying to find project that developt new feature of blockchain.
