I think Bitcoin is more valuable in this market than Ethereum. Because the price of Bitcoin is very stable, there is no big gap. However, the price of Ethereum has fallen very sharply in this year's market.

Dogecoin has grown too high and it is unlikely to continue rising in the near future. ETH and BTC are the safest choice now and its price has dropped to its lowest in 2018 and there is no reason not to invest in it.
at this condition, if i want to buy i would go for coin like neo or eos. because ETH and bitcoin price fluctuate a lot these days. neo or eos is at low pice to grab and and hold.

you can invest currently in both BTC and ETH as both are going through tough time with low market value but since both the currencies have excellent past performance history so both have great user trust and because of that they both will reach new heights in future maybe the best price in the market . So both ETH and BTC can be invested nowadays and it will yield a great profit in future definitely.

both bitcoin and ethereum is the best coin to invest now although the ethereum still going down too deep and maybe this is the lowest price in this year. but I don't think that ethereum is going to down for more because ethereum is one of the strongest coins beside of bitcoin and the other and I think ethereum can increase back in the long-term. so when you think that it is the best time to invest in bitcoin and ethereum, you can directly to buy both coins in the market and then you can wait for the increase of the price.
Maybe you can stop for investing at some altcoin right now, look at bitcoin and altcoin price more lower, you have waiting until is back. Maybe you can check now when bitcoin raised up again you can start to buy doge coin.

Go for ethereum, specially now, Ethereum is very cheap. You can go 99% off shopping of ethereum now. Expect ethereum to become stable sooner and sooner, there are many projects under ethereum and they will not let ethereum go back to $0.
