^ I would recommend you do not use such investment sites which promises to trade your funds for you and reward you at certain periods.
what is the difference between staking and such sites, as well as whether there is such a risk.
In such sites you're handing you capital over to someone else to do with it as they please, in staking you buy a cryptourrency which is used to build a project and you lock it up, this is used to encourage people to hold their currency rather than dump it, hence the value is expected to increase, you also get a fixed reward at specific time intervals, based on the amount of the coins you're holding. Th advantage of staking is you own your coins and can always sell them after your stake duration expires.
Thanks my friend for the advice first and for this good answer second, with thanks of course to the members who responded before you but you understood what I want, yes this is the difference as I think I understood it, the investment sites take your coins and you do not know what they do with these coins and they may scam, while staking you contribute to maintaining the operation of the network, also you hold your coins and can retrieve it at any time.

If we could go back to the etymological definition of "staking", it is a wager or an amount of asset that is risked to a company which is similar to investing. It is difficult to compare since both of them shares an exact meaning in terms of financial or cryptocurrency involvement.

Maybe, the right question would be, Is harmony worth staking for?

I find this question confusing. Staking is a process where you need certain amount of tokens to earn from its timely maturation which classify also as type of investment.

Staking is a form of investing, you'd need to specify what form of investment to compare it with.

I mean, by investing, you place your currencies in investment sites that give you a percentage of daily or monthly percentage profits. I see that staking is very similar to these sites. Also, as you know, there are risks in this type of investment, and my question is what is the difference between staking and such sites, as well as whether there is such a risk.

Staking is the process of investing in a project which is built on the PoS~Proof of Stake algorithm. Your coins are locked on their specified wallet for a period of time and you earn a percentage of your holdings in time intervals. Proof of stake is an alternative to the Proof of work algorithm used by the Bitcoin network to reward miners.
Staking is similar to mining on the Bitcoin network

My most important question: Which is better, staking or investing?

The open blockchain platform Harmony has announced that it will start supporting staking from now, in an effort to create a blockchain-based infrastructure.

Of course, as I know, there are many exchanges that support staking.
I want to fully understand what is staking and what are the best coins and platforms that we can do staking and give good profits?
