If you are going to tackle about the features then it's best that the wallet is user friendly, safe to use which has the advance level of securities, lowest transaction fee if possible and the most important of all (user's choice).
But if you are going to look for a wallet that you can easily top up and cash out. Then it is better that you are going to choose a wallet that is/are well known in your country as they can easily partner with your local companies to easily cash in and cash out your money.

What is your purpose first ? If you just want to trading your coin in the market, using exchange wallet is enough.
But if you want to hold coin in your wallet, i think you must have a secure wallet like hardwallet.
Or at least using desktop wallet to securely storing your coin for long period.
i used my ether wallet for erc20 for basic wallet for now.

We should be aware for choosing personal wallet to protect our money. Because hacking is playing games by the hacker's. Ultimately we choose wallet name MEW is best of one .last think so.
For me erc-20 is the best wallet for me to keep my investment in crypto, just carefull when you access your wallet and one more thing is stay away from phising site or malware.

this is recommeded for crypto community.today, hackers have high skill in hacking our wallet.and maybe hardware wallet be main solution for this problems.they could not attack again our balance in wallet.

you're right, we use something with our needs. but, until now, the most frequent and most important wallets I use are blockchain, and also Myetherwallet. well, i like collecting altcoins that have eth platforms, so MEW is a recommendation for me.

Storing digital assets should always look for the safest wallet. Hacking can happen to anyone and hacking does not know the time. The wallet you need depends on your needs. I personally have long used ERC20 and this wallet is safer. Almost all of my coins are based on Ethereum. I try to protect my assets by using some wallets.
metamask is really good for me and also myetherwallet is good one and if you want more safe than you can use nano ledger for sure and remember never share your private key 
security also starts from ourselves, if we can take good care of it and don't rush about the possibility that our wallet will be safe.indeed not all wallets are good but at least if we can be vigilant and always be careful so we don't lose.
