Which perks and features should one look for in a wallet?

Thanks in advance
if you want your best wallets you need to buy some gadgets for that then only can store your Bitcoin in your own hand otherwise if you really want to store your investment in online wallet then my Ether wallet will be reduced

It is best to use specialized mono wallets that were created for each cryptocurrency separately. They are the safest. On them you can save Seed phrase or private keys.
Multi wallets I do not trust.
There are certain wallets which were formerly meant for one cryptocurrency and pther tokens under their blockchaiun, but have now been upgraded to allow the storage of other coins on another blockchain. A typical example of such is imtoken, which now allows the storage of bitcoin and EOS. There are other of such wallets, which i believe are also safe.

After hearing many hacking cases and suggestions from the official website of myetherwallet.com, I moved my ethereum and all tokens to Metamask, I keep my private key on paper so that my account is safe.

Firstly, you need to know its security, whether it's secure or not by seeing the reviews of the wallet, or you can test it yourself. And, you need to know which is the best for you, whether is hardware wallet or software wallet. Hardware wallet securer, and software  wallet secure too.

Depends on the type of coins you are holding, example if you are to hold eth, you must download Ethereum related wallets like Imtoken and if you are holding Bitcoin, you must download wallets like paxful and blockchain

If you are storing up Ethereum and ERC-20 type of tokens I would recommend you using Myetherwallet as your wallet of choice. According to user experience of mine, Myetherwallet or MEW in short is easy to navigate to. There is no complicated and technical stuffs that you need to know to navigate through the wallet. It is also secure since I had been using it for quite some time now.

For me i like storing my ETH in MEW,bitcoins on blockchain.Theres alot to consider for which type of wallet you wanna use first of all is specialy amount,if thats huge better to keep it on a flashdrive where you can keep it whole. If medium amount you can store in in desktopwallets or even on big exchanges/platforms for ex binance, bitmex.Still depends if youre in mobile or desktop/laptop actually its for you to choose from many wallets available there

Well as long as the wallet is secured and so easy to use because of its user-friendliness user interface then that's a good wallet just like the MyEtherWallet.

Even you only have 1 altcoin nothing doubt about it. But it could be worst when you have multi cryprocurrency for investment. Multi wallet can be effective for cut your time to sending balance on once aplication. Just thing before action to don't storing private key into strange aplication and keep it safe your screet from phising site.

Speaking about mobile wallets I use only Vite, but they have not launched swap from main net to exchange, so now it is just a wallet to store your coins, but there are some cool features like daily airdrop and dice games

I actually use Myetherwallet for the wallet that I use often. But now I want to use besides wallet mew. Because I want to try something different than what I usually use. My friend often uses the imtoken wallet, but I don't understand the wallet. I don't even know how to download or access the wallet, does anyone want to tell me? so that I can use the mew and imtoken wallet.

It is better to use the wallet on your computer or phone, where you yourself store your seeds.
On the phone, it is better to choose applications from Google Play only those where there are more downloads - it means the wallet is in demand and really relevant

I prefer hardware wallets especially ledger nano because they are very secure comparatively. However, if you are looking for multi software wallets which can store many coins, try trustwallet, atomic wallet , imtoken, coinomi, blockchain wallet. I've been using these and they are good since I have control over my private keys and mnemonic phrase. Also, I use apps and not web wallets, apps are more secure.

true, such wallets are indeed safer especially if we use them carefully because even though the wallet is very safe but we use it carelessly it is still at risk so as an investor we also have an important role about security especially personal security.

The most major of wallets is security. You have a lot of digital assets if you choose the wallet, of course, very risky. ERC20 is a secure wallet and until now my assets are not lost. Hardware wallets are also very secure. As long as you can keep a good private key.
