It really doesn't take a lot of effort to get out of here. 5 posts and four hours of perusing the fora...

Yes I'd love to be out of here.  I've been following bitcoin for quite sometime and have a background in computer science and economics.  I have built a website that accepts bitcoin www.keystonepetplace.com and am working on another.

I'm another lurker who has following the rise of bitcoin since the early days. Sadly I didnt aquire much coins back then, and still banging my head on the table for that. I just heard about the Ripple giveaway from Reddit and came here to find out I'm a newbie.

I'm 35 years old. Understand how bitcoin works, roughly (My brain isn't very mathematical). Warmed up my room with a Radeon mining bitcoins once or twice. I've been purchasing bitcoins on mtgox and various other sites, and hope to receive some hardware from BFL soon.

Hope to be released out on to the forum so I can beg for some Ripple coins.

A lot of people are trying to get Ripple coins. I take that as a good sign for the currency. It's a really interesting project and the guys seen to have solved a lot of really difficult problems with some very creative thinking. I hope that that they do succeed.

Hi,

I'd like to be whitelisted so that I can respond to various trade offers on the forums. I've been trading large amounts face-to-face and can prove my identity on #bitcoin-otc and localbitcoins if needs be.

Thanks!

Hello,

I'm new to bitcointalk (although I've lurked), but I've been around and involved with Bitcoin for over two years now. I'm on r/Bitcoin on Reddit frequently as u/tmanwebty, where I try to provide insightful and helpful comments to help out those in the community. I also run the http://laserco.in/ website and its corresponding Etsy shop. If you need proof of any of this, I am more than happy to provide.

Thanks!

I am interested in ripple and want to take part in their giveaway. I don't have big need for discussion, but I am observer of Bitcoin for quite good time.

Hello, I've been an active participant in the bitcoin community since April of 2011.

I am on good terms with many of the prominent bitcoin businesses.

I haven't had a need to post on this forum until now.

Please advise if any further information is required for whitelisting.

Would very much appreciate to post in other sections. Been viewing the forums for the past year but only joined yesterday as never been much of a poster. I'm a sysadmin/programmer/designer but generally just love technology since my commodore 64 days Smiley

Would love to post my condo I'm selling in the market place as will be investing it in bitcoins anyway so finding a bitcoin buyer direct would be cool.

Hi, I have been wondering around the forum for a while, even before I joined, and there are so many threads I would like to post on. I am finding it difficult to post something useful in the newbie forum. I find that I can often answer or provide some insights on questions asked on other forums.

I am a web developer and computer engineer. I have not done much developing pertaining to Bitcoin yet and do not really have any plans to do so for now, I am definitely interested in doing something in the future.

Hi

Glad I finally joined this forum. I've been active in the Bitcoin community especially on reddit. So far I only purchased bitcoins but I'm starting mining and this is why I joined this forum. I'm all setup and ordered some hardware which (hopefully) will arrive shortly. I don't mind that much waiting a few more hours but there some threads I really wanted to reply to only to find out I couldn't.

Once again glad to be here and hope to be "promoted".

Thanks for your time.

I'm a Bitcoin enthusiast and, believe it or not, female programmer. That's pretty rare.

Female programmers are pretty rare. It's a pity, but hopefully things will improve. If for no other reason because geek girls are awesome!
I started out by taking a C++ class at a local community college. The only other woman in the class was a friend who I convinced to take the class with me so I wouldn't be the only one. I showed up at a Bitcoin meetup in the Bay Area and was the only female, not counting one woman who a guy brought just to show off.

Ahh yes. The sole geek with a woman by his arm. He's a rare breed indeed. More women are needed - at least twice as many as men. So that we, then men, may then have our pick!
