Who is the king of altcoin, of course ethereum, this coin has its own advantages and I believe ethereum for the future will develop better and more people will invest in ethereum
I don't think Litecoin can show that this will be the best coin. I only saw Ethereum that this coin has enormous potential. Even Ethereum is very popular and becomes the second coin after Bitcoin. So this coin is very worthy of being the king of Altcoin.
It can be said that the king of altcoins is ethereum, the volume of ethereum transactions reaches 55% of all transaction volumes of altcoins, and this is what makes me not hesitate to invest ethereum in large quantities.
the king of altcoins has always been a competition between Ripple and Ethereum by i think over the years ethereum has dominated the position of being the cryptocurrency with the second highest marketcap. Also, it is the popular altcoin that is largely used by most people in the cryptosphere.
BTC is king of the crypto market while Eth is king of Altcoins, currently ranked at no 2 after BTC. Ethereum is the second big revolution in crypto industry after the launch BTC. The concept of ICO will never be a reality if Eth had not opened his blockchain for DAPPs.
For getting more income from altcoins I definitely trust ethereum for the better investment so it could be more probably the best way to make cover investment more tired so I think the king of all the currencies is ethereum.
Haven Bitcoin differentiated itself from the crypto-world, also Ethereum in the world of altcoins. Ethereum was the back where many other altcoins ride through into the world of cryptocurrency, that's ERC20. Seen several time the said Ethereum stay at the number 2 on coinmarketcap clearly show that indeed it the king of ALTCOINS.

yes, it's always been like that. eth is always a priority for altcoin. well, some things have indeed made ETH a number 3 coin. however, a good development makes ETH the second coin for now. 
ETH is strong but now it's not a king fo crypto. My personal opinion : BNB is most popular right now but it should be stopped soon coz it lools like madness right now. Also I prefer EOS it very promosing and with time it will replace ETH I'm sure.

Sometimes ethereum, sometimes ripple theres no fixed king altcoins for me unless they are all get in top 2 on coinmarketcap. As i see there are lot of coins have a potential in the future and no one knows who will be the one someday.
I think Ethereum is still the king even if it's getting old and getting slow. Ethereum made it's name because of the creation of smart contract whereas you could could with in a block creating opportunities for companies to make use of. If there's a rival I think it's XRP, many would say ripple is more centralized even though many already adopted it.
I think, there are currently projects that could rival the ethereum platform. Nevertheless Ethereum is king still, if we look at the coinmarketcap, we can clearly see the king of altcoins.
Ethereum is the king of altcoins, because it is most popular with investors. NEO is the queen because she is handsome and loving. EOS is a walking son because it specializes in casinos and gambling. Stellar is a wealthy grandfather because he saves money in a bank and is popular with bankers. That's the whole royal family.
There are so many altcoins in the altcoins section that are doing great, but in at that the ethereuem is the king of the altcoin because it hold the blockchain that host all the altcoin that run on ERC20.
As always ethereum is the king of altcoins, right now the market has been experiencing a downtrend. The market of ethereum will grow higher than ever, last year itself large scale growth is expected to happen with ethereum. Things didn't happen as predicted, but it went low to $100 and now the recovery has taken the price close to $140. Hope the recovery will continue in a slow and steady way.
deffinetly the king of altcoins is ethereum. many other tokens was made in eth platforms. and most of tokesales prefer to take vestments in eth. and there is more reasons why it is king)
Indeed ETH, when we compare its widespread usage, total supply and market cap ETH seems to be number one. On the other hand it does not mean it will goes forever any alt coin who has more development, more community support can get ETHs place.
The king of Altcoins is Ethereum and others will always queue behind it. Ethereum is the project that drastically revolutionize the industry and bring the concept of smart contracting to reality. As a platform, it also create opportunity for ICO and though many add bad experience with many of them but it's still part of the innovations in our industry.
