Am of the opinion, that ethereum is the king of altcoin. This is because ethereum plays a huge role in the crypto sphere. Ethereum is the most used altcoin in ICO's and most projects use the ethereum platform in their smart contract, thereby making ethereum the most used token for smart contract.
yes, I agree with your opinion, ETH is the king of altcoins. not for price issues but Banyan Coin that has used a system of ETH for trading and for Ico, and a market exchange other than Bitcoin. Eth is the leader after Bitcoin

I personally think the most successful ALT is BNB. It has been the best performing alt coin from the time of it's launch back in the July 2017 and since the beginning of the year BNB made a staggering 83% gain.
Although there are a lot of controversies around BNB coin, some call it a ponzi scheme and a centralized token. But hey, isn't the whole crypto space a ponzi scheme for the people who lose money chasing the lambo and moon dreams and investing blindly without doing their own research.

Well, this is too simple a question. That is why we all know where new coins are. ETH is the king of altcoins today. Although the project has a cankurent and it can change the market.
like you said, king of altcoin is eth, eth always stand beside bitcoin, as you know, mostly ico sale event only received payment with btc and eth only, event some ico sale received all altcoin, but like i said mostly only accepted btc and eth.

Just recently that Ripple was able to climb to the second but later failed leaving ETH the opportunity to get back up to its right position. if we look inside marcetcap ethereum is an altcoin that can be said to be the king of altcoin because they are ranked second in the market. I do not doubt ethereum altcoin potential, I see etehereum has good prospects, ethereum also still dominates the smart platform of several ico projects.
