We don't need to argue much about this we already know that ETH is the king of altcoin onset, though litecoin is doing great this days but that one don't mean that litecoin has gain the position.
Ethereum remains the main one in a position in altcoin because indeed its own position is still in number 2 in the top cmc and also people already feel about the benefits with ethereum, they get a lot of benefits
Time in crypto happen very fast, trends changed at lightning speed and, maybe, we will see a BNB on the second place soon instead of ETH.
Not sure about the second place but it mau surpass ripple in the future, i will very proud to see that consider if ripple is a crap coin dude. Ethereum will still remain in the second place. Trend has already changed and people are seeing from how useful the product.

For now I think ethereum is the king. Ethereuem house soany altcoins over 40% of cryprocurrency is built on the ethereum blockchain. Although , litecoin has show some level of stability to be tied as top coin.
I think the king of altcoin is no other than ethereum. Ethereum is a great innovative coin that already been trusted for so long now. So I think ethereum really the best of all altcoin and as we can all see the ethereum is really always next to bitcoin. Maybe it will really become more amazing soon so let us wait for it.

to consider the best altcoin as the "king" live you've said, it is not enough to look at their market prices. It is very fundamental to ask and conduct some surveys and I do really commend that you ask here, so if I will going to choose between that two, I will say ETH as it is much more efficient for me and I used it. Until now I think the king of altcoin is still ethereum, this coin has advantages that other altcoins don't have, many platforms have used it and I'm sure this ethereum will last a long time in the future

In my opinion ETH is the king of altcoin for now, it can be used to create new tokens and is very usefull. But possible over many years the King of altcoins will be another coin, who know, maybe one which don't need miners.
Does anyone expect to have some other answer than Ethereum? I guess that most of us think that this is the real king of altcoins at the moment
It will be very funny if somebody here will post some altcoin, sorry token on Ethereum blockchain, so that's why ETH is the safest option 
so Ethereum is indeed the king of Altcoin now and it will last a long time because it's not easy to beat the popularity and quality of Ethereum.
