I do not think now who will be the new king: ethereum, bitcoin, or other crypto coins. I am now thinking about whether cryptocurrency will continue to exist and develop.

I think no one can replace the Bitcoin coins because Bitcoin is a potential coin and many are of interest to many people.
Bitcoin is still the king. There is no doubt that ETH is still the most commonly used altcoin on the ICO market, even if it has fallen to third place, but this does not affect its sales!
Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?
Who knows! I think the current market is screening out bad products and we will soon see some equally good coins emerge from all this scam and failure. I can totally imagine some coin being better than ETH, for example.
Ethereum and Bitcoin not is the best coins, but it is most expensive (BTC) and most useful (Ethereum). I am sure that a lot of existing coins which come and some of coins which already exist is better than this leaders at list in technical characteristics.
Nobody knows that. But Bitcoin is the most famous cryptocurrency in the world. Huge funds are invested in this coin. I think Bitcoin will remain the most important coin.
At this point I believe that there is a high chance that XRP will be in the spotlight in the next few months but that does not mean that it will the new king.

I think no one will, all the kings will remain the same and none of the newcomers cannot overcome them. This is not the area in which you can overtake the first and leading participants.

The new king is unknown for now because there are some coins in top 5 that has the potential to overtake the dominant crypto. The power tussle is still ongoing and I think the next king has not been determined.
Many years in the world of cryptocurrency has only one king - its bitcoin. And i think so will be always. All other altcoins depend from bitcoin and for this moment i dont see other candidate on this place.
Bitcoin is still the king after it has maintain it market dormancy from day one till now. another currency becoming bigger than bitcoin will be harder to achieve, not even ether is near bitcoin.
I think ripple will be the new king because you can see latest price movements of ripple. Ripple moving like a coin which have his own freedom. I think in the future ripple will start to move differently than general crypto space . Because there are too many banks and backers and they are holding ripple and buying more and more. No i am only joking.Do not buy ripple

Yes king is bitcoin he was and will be, he created the blockchain technology and I think will always hold the championship because bitcoin is the only coin without a famous Creator
A new king? You mean the coin with the largest capitalization? If that's what you're talking about, then I'll tell you it's unlikely. As soon as Bitcoin begins to fall in capitalization - the whole market repeats it.
I think that it will still be ethereum. For me, this is a very powerful coin. I believe that the price will increase to 5,000 thousand dollars.
I still see that bitcoin will still be king, but competition between xrp and eth is very interesting to follow, I think xrp has a very strong chance to strengthen its position as the second best
