Some people say, that ripple can get the first place really soon. And actually ripple got 1/4 of btc capitalization today, but that will not be enough. Ripple is centralized and BTC will be the leader untill the end of emission
the real king is still bitcoin, bitcoin still the central of cryptocurrency even many altcoin is growup and get big support from their community
So that no one said, but as Bitcoin was the most popular cryptocurrency, it will remain for the next 5 years. I am sure about that. At the moment he has no competitors.
Currently there is no the candidate that can replace bitcoin as the new king of all coins even some people refers xrp or eth will be the next but I don't think so.
I would say bitcoin is only the king of crypto and no other, bitcoin is the source of all crypto, without bitcoin their is also no altcoins in the market that exist today.

No one can replace bitcoin as it is the strongest. But the Ethereum can probably replace the NEO because it has good prospects for development.

Well, bitcoin is unlikely to be replaced by someone , but Ethereum of course can be replaced , a very strong competitor appeared in his eos , but at the moment I still think that Ethereum the next 2-3 years will be in the future!
I really believe that the future will be in Bitcoin and I don’t see any other cryptocurrency at the gaming site
Who will be a new king' nothing either bitcoin are goes into lower price value he's still a king of cryptocurrency, i remember the segwit hardfork bch want to replace bitcoin as king but sorry to tell is failed to got the position, so in own future opinion bitcoin will stay strong and still stay as king of cryptocurrency.

Bitcoin is mostly use as store of value and a safe heaven asset. But we're talking about transactions in the blockchain and can be use as world wide adoption on most merchants, that coin that im talking about is Ethereum
In the future, there will probably be excellent cryptocurrencies to replace Bitcoin or ETH, but I don't think this will happen in 2 years!

The new king will not be born now, Bitcoin is still the strongest coin, and other coins are similar to Bitcoin. If speed and handling fees are cheaper than Bitcoin, then exceeding Bitcoin is not enough. The new king needs to change the technology of the world to promote the use of cryptocurrencies.
According to the current situation, i think Ripple will be the new king of the crypto market. Ripple's price increase is amazing and it makes us pay attention. Ripple has overcome ETH and stands the second on coinmarketcap after Bitcoin.
Has things are in this market I don't see any coin taking over soon and no matter how strong the project is ,it has to be in line for a while as those that has spent years also are yet to beat the record set by btc and I don't think that will be easy but may happen in future .

I never thought any future altcoin could replace the bitcoin status. Because all markets are dependent on bitcoin, bitcoin decreases by 1, then altcoin decreases by 10. Bitcoin trading volume accounts for the bulk of the market.
I do not think any altcoin can replace Bitcoin. Bitcoin will always be king. No electronic money can replace it in the future. Because many altcoin are affected by the price and the market before Bitcoin. So there will be no new king appearing in the present. In the future, it will not predict anything
