There'll be a new king. When the regulation comes and Nation's crypto comes, current cryptos will fall and those will come with massive caps. Because people trust to those regulated currencies, not to unregulated btc etc
Now the mainstream currency, BTC-ETH, has the upper hand, and they have the strength and technology, but the future is likely to be a new project to replace them more mature and more comprehensive. What do you think it would be?
I am sure, this will take a lot of time to answer, because these two crypto work very well so far.
But for me, bitcoin will remain the king and father of cryptocurrency, this assumption will be difficult to change, at least for the next few years.
There is no other coin out there to challenge the bitcoin
I don't think there's any coin on the market right now that can replace bitcoin and become the new king, bitcoin is recognized almost everywhere. Bitcoin is in a very stable position. No coin can shake bitcoin's position.
Bitcoin was, is and will be the king of crypro. Bitcoin created cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin rules every cryptocurrency. When Bitcoin falls, every cryptocurrency falls.
Surely, a new coin will hit the market in future but it's quite far from now as I don't really see any coin going near both bitcoin and ethereum. Probably neo will rise to challenge.

In my opinion, these two coins are very strong in any way, so it doesn't seem like there will be a new king of coins for now. Bitcoin to this day has a user heart, and will remain the first coin in investment priorities, while ether brings a pretty good traffic experience and also has a large community today.

So far, Bitcoin will be the center of all crypto, while no cryptocurrency can change it. Bitcoun is the first coin and all trades are tied to it.
In the future, I hope there is a new market dreamer, because it will be more interesting to see.
Bitcoin will remain as a store of crypto wealth for years to come.
I am afraid ETH will continue on its downward trend before stabilising at it's realistic valuation of around $50.
In the meantime, out of all the hype and vapour, there will be a couple of contenders that should surpass Ethereum in the near term - Stellar & Waves Platform, I should think.

I do not think that this will happen, especially with bitcoin.It is very common, which allows it to be the most reliable BIockchain.It's easier to change the code of an existing one than to build a new structure.
Bitcoin will always remain the king.When people come to this market they think there is only one bitcoin.Later they start to look at other projects
of course the technology race will continue to compete, but the king is just preparing to compete with BTC and Eth, this is for encouraging the development at this time, but the developer hopes faded by seeing the increasingly weakening of the current market with many altcoins that must burned and there is no demand.
I don't think other coins can replace bitcoin's position as king in the cryptocurrency market. Almost some people still believe in the existence of bitcoin as king in the cryptocurrency world, because bitcoin has very good potential, it's just that the price of bitcoin on the market is decreasing but surely the price of bitcoin will soar again at the end of this year.
in my opinion, Bitcoin is hard to be surpassed. it has been the most stable coin ever since 2008. it has built a huge ecosystem. it is widely spread throughout the world. it becomes an encrypted symbol.
There is only one king and it will remain the king for a long period of time than expected.
Bitcoin is the king of all coins and am not really sure maybe any coin will be able to meet up with its standard. Though etheruem is close but it cannot overcome bitcoin.

With all the potential that exists, I'm sure that ethereum is a coin that deserves to be a new king, buying as much as we can is something that must be done to get big profits.
Bitcoin will not be substituted in years to come. This is what people do not want to understand, they want that their favorite coin to take the place of bitcoin and obviously that is going to be impossible, they do not understand that the moment bitcoin stops begin the number one coin a lot of trust is going to be lost in the market and since this market and all the markets are based on trust then a collapse will follow.
indeed btc, and eth is very high in price, but from the sophistication of the tool and the more advanced the times it is most likely that btc and eth are the same but the price and quality will be better than the present ..
