etherium has truly become candidate number two as substitute bitcoin becomes King of cryptocurrency. but this isn't any time soon in my opinion. probably still will take quite a long period of time to be able to shift the position of the bitcoin nowadays.

For me, if referring to cryptocurrency i think bitcoin is still one of the coins that we can respect and consider as king of all crypto because of its highest market cap and expensive value.

I think bitcoin will remain as the best cryptocurrency for some time, after all, it was the first of it's kind, ethereum is the second best and I think it offer more innovation than bitcoin but still it can't surpass the popularity and reliability of bitcoin.

I do not know if there is someone who is fit to replace bitcoin, the new king must have the ability and sophistication that exceeds bitcoin, that is the most important requirement, and to this day there is still no one who can. i dont think this will never happen. Still now there is no other coins more popular than bitcoin. Many people know about bitcoin, and some not even heard about other altcoins.
