Because holding is the safest method to do on a Red market or Bear days, Rebuying in low price is good too but it is risky and not safe what if you want to rebuy again in a lower price so you would sell your coins in panic way but your expect is wrong because the coin value goes pump? So you will lose on a ride and you go panic buy now because you think that it will rise continuosly but you're wrong again after you panic buyed the price goes dump again so you lose your coins that's why we suggest to hold every red market to make safe your investment.

Hi all,
I have a really simple question or so seems to me cause i am a crypto noob.
I really do not understand why almost everybody suggest to hold when there is a dip or correction.

With my simple noob logic i think that when there is a dip someone could sell at the start of the dip or do something else (e.g. buy tether y i know the rumors or something similar anyway) and then buy again later when the correction has stop or decrease.

Obviously no one knows when there is a many days dip and when it will end in order to buy but even so one can save much money just for sell and buy in between even without predict the absolute start and end of a dip.

I hold as everyone suggests but i now realise that if i had sell even a couple days before even yesterday-and not right after the start of the dip and buy lets say now i would have save a bunch of money relatively with what i am doing now which is hold.

I really must be missing something since i am crypto noob orelse i cannot explain why everyone suggest hold while i fear that real pros are doing the oppossite.

I would like to ask only experienced people who know what they are talking about to give their opinions cause i am fed up reading pseudo crypto pros everywhere around. I bet many of you understand what i mean. Everybody has become a crypto pro . Well i am a crypto noob and i need your heads up.

Thank you for your time reading this and excuse my lame English.

Regards.

Bitcoin is volatile and we should know that before we start trading or investing. It is better is you'll make you own decisions on your own and just do your own strategy. Bitcoin is a long term investment for you to get a better profit in the future. o if you do panic selling, you'll lose something too. Patience is always a virtue here in crypto world.

This is a market in volatility. Any small or large change or influence affects the value of the coin. When the market goes down, If you panic and sell all, it will bring down the value bad. That's what nobody wants. I believe you too.

Because holding is the best way to help the price recover if we all collaborate to hodl then the price will not decrease and perhaps it will decrease but not too much i think.

It is because the market would not dip forever, it would recover after the slump and start increasing again. It has happened most of the time before and it would happen again in future too. So, if you sell when the price is down then you have to suffer losses.
Only those persons will suggest you to go for holding of the coins which you are having who actually know this concept of crypto currency in the best possible way.

It is because of the fact that the market value of most of the coins keep on increasing most of the time and the one who is having little patient and keeps on holding his coins for some good period of time will definitely end up having greater revenue at the end.

The people you see suggesting to hold are well experienced by the crypto market and they know how it grows and what are the exact times for its surge. If you are newbie to crypto trading, you must consider these suggestion as futuristic ideas to keep everything going smooth

holding is the way to save your profit. day trading is high risky and its waste your time, so holding is the best option. if you think about bitcoin or ethereum ico then you will get your answer.

Day trading or long term holding are both risky because we didnt known when the price goes up and impact the logic of OP are really right.
I must consider my self as a long term trading since I hold a couple of good altcoin for almost a year but not all altcoin consider as long term investment maybe choose the top 5 altcoin in coinmarketcap.
As stated both has got the highest risk associated with it. Same time bitcoin has grown high over the years profiting the users who have kept hold of bitcoin believing the growth. Holding is highly riskier than bitcoin trading in my personal thinking.

You can see that the market in recent days is fluctuating continuously and extremely complex, can see that bitcoin prices are continuously adjusted and now has recovered to $ 11000 level, bitcoin is still on the rise. strong recovery. I think that it is possible to reduce risk and invest more safely, this time should be kept and should not trade, large price fluctuations will give you a very heavy losses if the loss.

I will answer you, many people buy on FUMO. so after price dump they can't sell their coin at cheap price, so preferred to holding , and whaiting when price up again.;;

obviously the ideal would be to buy when the value is low and sell when the value is high, but it is not so easy! If everyone could do this they would all be rich.
The important thing is not to get caught up in emotions and panic making mistakes that one can repent of.

I am quiet new and I honestly dont know what is the best start.
- Investing in some PoS Coins?
- Focusing on Hard forks?
- Making good deals via trading.

There seem to be some options, but I honesltly dont know which way to follow.
Actualy I like staking some coins and trying to combine it with some fork projects....

At the end, holding some coins, that are interesting for you, is the key....I guess
It depends on your capital, PoS coins are good but only if you are able to invest a huge amount fiat and then stake your coins, trading can be a good option as well, but it is not easy and many lose money instead of earning any money, hard forks for the most part are a waste of time very few become successful so as you can see making any money is not easy in this market.
PoS investment would really be good if you can able to put out huge money or capital on it same as you said. This is somehow a passive income but cant be sure if it would sustain for longer years to come. Trading is the most valuable option for me but it wont really be an easy thing an not all people is capable to be successful with it.Most people do failed up but others do still able to handle it. Holding of coins is just applicable for potential coins in the market.
Yes, most coins do not last long so putting your money in a PoS coin can bring great profits but it can bring huge losses as well this is the reason many advice to only hold bitcoin for the long term and to be ready to sell all your other altcoins just in case the coin suffers a problem and except for a few altcoins I think the advice makes sense.
It is very much important to be careful while investing money in crypto currencies, because a lot of coins are there which do not have future and they can take your money away, therefore it is too much important to select such a coin for investment which you can consider as to get good profit from it and which you can think will survive for a long long time.

People are suggesting because they don't which coins you have but one thing sure we don't know who is selling and who is buying in the market. One thing i can say holding for certain period of time will always give you more profit when compared to selling when the price is low.

I don't know why they keep on suggesting to hold. I think they are only saying it so that the value of the coin will grow. And if it happen. They will be the first to sell their coins.

In my opinion bitcoin is the high trading currency among the other currencies of the crypto market and it will circulating in the market for many purposes like when the bitcoin price rise the people would like to hold their coin and when the bitcoin price the people strategy changed and they are willing to buy bitcoin So it is good to hold our crypto and the time is near when bitcoin will use for every thing.

Because if the people hold their coins they will earn more profit.  And they  did not lose money.
Essentially this, because it is hard to lose money in a rapidly growing industry. If you trade you may make a mistake and cost yourself the amount of $ you were to expect, but if you hold on it is not only a simpler strategy in execution but also much less stress on the body.

Because bitcoin value can increase better than now. If you have bitcoin and hold it for 1-2 years you can got a lot of profit from your capital. But i recommend to hold altcoin like Ethereum compared bitcoin. Ethereum is altcoin with good future to long term investmen.

Because if the people hold their coins they will earn more profit   And they  did not lose money.  Because if you hold your coin you will be able to wait the price to increase you will earn more profit.  But it depends to you if you want to hold your coins or not because if the price decrease you will be affected because they have possobility that yoir money will gone so make your own decision bease on your idea or thingking about the coin that you have.
