We can say that altcoins are much more improved kind of blockchain technology compared to bitcoin like ethereum wich has a smart contract functionality while bitcoin doesnt have other altcoins claims to solve some problems regarding bitcoin transactions especially the highest tps it can process.
I think it's because Bitcoin has more shortcomings now! For example, it can't handle a lot of transactions. It's slow! The price fluctuates greatly. Because it has no directed application ability, it is very weak in its ability to resist the downward trend!
Although Bitcoin has taken up 40% the coin market. But is it more worthy to invest in bitcoin? Since bitcoin can never replace the paper currency for the moment due to many complicated reasons, and most bitcoins are already acquired by a small sum of people. So if a kind of currency can't be circulated, what's the meaning of that coin. When it comes to ICO, and the release of altcoin, it means that you are investing in a company, you are holding equity in the company. If you think this company will have a bright future, it's always worthy to put your money in.

actually i see the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin and altcoin, i think if you want to trade then altcoin is more profitable but if you want to do a holding then bitcoin is the best of everything
altcoin which has a perspective, can multiply the funds invested by me several times, which can not be said about bitcoin, maybe that's why altcoin is better
i personally believe that bitcoin is in a higher value now so if we get bitcoin we have spend more to get profits. but altcoins specially undervalued coins gives a better return of investment.
People have started liking altcoin because people can buy different coins and can sell different coins according to their choice and can get many options . Some convert altcoin into ethereum and some into bitcoin. All this depends on block chain technology. That's why people are attracted towards altcoin.

You can not say that calm is better than Bitcoin! In your portfolio there should always be both altkoins and bitcoin, this will allow you to earn more! If you talk about the advantages of altcoyins, you are some of them faster in transactions, others are anonymous, but still Bitcoin remains king!
Better, because altcoin can take off at its price very high, but from bitcoin, we probably will not see such a sharp increase.
I don`t think it is always worthy to put your money into one company, even if you 100% sure that it will be successful. It also depends on what time period we are talking about, imagine you had bought bitcoin a year ago and was able to hold it.

I won't exactly they are better at this moment but the fact that there are continous progress and work being done on altcoins and bitcoin has remained the same through out the years might be the reason that altcoins will finally surpass bitcoin because the needs of humans don't stay the same so we need projects that can evolve with the times

I also heard that altcoin is better than Bitcoin, because altcoins has different in terms of customers attractions and they have better project than Bitcoin and they have a real project that develop over time. However, the value of Bitcoin has been recognized by various countries and altcoins is not all of them, so I think Bitcoin is still the best now.
Would not say that they are better. Of course part of the money should be in altcoyins, but in Bitcoin you need to keep some of the funds as it stably grows.

No I dont rhink so,as for me bitcoin is always better than altcoins.The only reason to change bitcoin for altcoins is a short price speculation during a partucular coin pump on any of exchanges.
Bitcoin perhaps the top but its too hyped so such jumps as was last year, I think not . I would look for a prospective coin which, like bitcoin in the past, could break the maximum . bitcoin will be more dynamic . strictly personal opinion !!!!!!!!!!!!
Hi altcoin from the point of view of gaining profit is better than btc because they are much grow.
