Yes altcoin is better for now because altcoin was given more profit than Bitcoin, last year in 2017 some altcoin like Verge is become the biggest gainer, when started tradeable the price just 1 sathosi but in next a few month the price will be more than 250 sathosi, this is the biggest gain ever in crypto market. Now if you make the same profit you should diligent to look for new potential altcoin.
i personally believe that bitcoin is in a higher value now so if we get bitcoin we have spend more to get profits. but altcoins specially undervalued coins gives a better return of investment.
Alternative coins or what we called altcoins and bitcoin are different coins. Bitcoin is the main coin so they depend the price of altcoin based on the price of the bitcoin.bitcoin can give you a big profit if you hold it and sell it properly whole the altcoins are giving you an good investment because the price is enough only and not high as much at the bitcoin

I dont think so,altcoins can be better than bitcoin just for a short-term speculations,like pumps,but for long-term investment I would better choose bitcoin.
Altcoins price are based on the BTC price, because BTC is a main coin. And if you will buy a lot of BTC, then you will get much higher profit. But altcoins are cheap and stable. And from them, also can earn a lot money.

Much depends on what specifically altcoin you choose. Bitcoin has started to lose its leading position in the market for a long time. I think that already in 2019 the Ethereum will take 1 place.
I see only few preferences of altcoins. Smartcontracts - Ethereum and NEO. Chance to make 1000$ profit in one day from the some alts. But at the same moment it is the great risk to lose all.

it depends on the holder. If you want to trade daily, then i suggest to have altcoin as much as possible to revolve your profit in single day. But if you're bitcoin holder. Then absolutely your purpose just on bitcoin itself, bitcoin is the best based on quality and time to hold. Not like altcoin which pumped once and dump continously.

This post really surprise me why would you say altcoins is better than bitcoin, you can't even compare them. There are thousands ways to show that bitcoin leads all altcoins and will continue to lead them. Bitcoin is accepted in most countries.
