I think it depends on everyone's strategies when to sell or hold. Maybe they thought that it is more practical than holding their altcoins.

I sell my coins only when I REALLY DO NEED the money. I am sure that when you have some good cryptocurrency, it is much better to keep it for a long time. Holding strategy is working all the time.

I had the mindset of holding any coin for as much as I can in order to make the most profit out of it, but recently I have come to understanding that investing and holding altcoins may result in me losing everything I have got so I decided to stop doing that and buy only Bitcoin.

Most of the community members don't know how to control their emotions and they get caught panic. Then they start immediate panic selling on the exchanges. Then others start to complain about this.

This is inevitable and this will always occur.

I sell when I'm ready to let go and ready to make a profit. But I know that not everyone is the same when selling, sometimes people can not wait for the market to recover or they are affected by negative issues, to do panic sales, afraid to see the fall of the price of cryptocurrency is very fast, especially with bitcoin and followed by ETH.

I am selling my altcoins if only i really need money. I have received altcoins from airdrop that i participated before but the development team doesn't give support anymore that causes the altcoin's value to go down so i decided to just sell it.

Great words. A lot of newbies with weak hands entered the world of crypto in December during hype and then gave away their earning to whales.

The market was not reliable as it was before making weak hands sell in dip while prices continues to go down to minimize the damage, average will have no where else to go but sell

I need the money that why I'm selling it. If I can store it and live it for sometime then it will be very good. But usually we have our needs to consider therefore we need cash.

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?
I wouldn't say they're not smart investors. There are coins who booms in the start and later on slows down and eventually lose popularity. They're called short term investors, and they do this probably they're comfortable doing this and they have their thing going. Some day traders can maximize their profits with this. Diversifying their investments and early selling afterwards.

Most people are guided by the instincts when buying a coin. They buy a coin if its price rises, and they sell a coin if its price falls. In the first case, they are driven by greed, in the second - by fear. I think that this is wrong and more often it is necessary to do the opposite. We need to think a few steps forward.

I would sell my altcoin just when there are reaching a new alltime high. And when you look back to the charts of the last weeks, you will de that propably no coin reached an all time high. So thats why i difnt sell any one of them.

Well if you compare the stability of altcoins price from February 2018 down wards and the from March 2018 upwards you will see the big difference. Now most people are selling their altcoin because of the instability of the price of altcoins for so months now. Recently is very easy for the price of altcoins to fall and difficult to rise. And the most investors in the cryptocurrency takes it as investment not as an asset.

Graphs in cryptographic currencies may vary widely. Most people are guided by instincts when they get a coin, but I think this is a wrong approach. If you do not do research and analysis, you make mistakes. there has to act in an emotional way because of selling

It is regular trust issue. People go invest into altcoins to make bigger profits because of volatility. And they can't swallow it after dumps and leave them all along. I defend patience in this situation.

I am not selling my altcoins yet but for people who are selling their altcoins, I think I can take two guesses
They have hit the target prices set for their coins so they are taking out their profits and waiting to buy back in at low prices

When I see that the token does not have a future, I'm selling it! But I have a top token I've been holding them for a long time!
