Sell our coins when we get profit. When the market gets up then we sell and when it gets down too much then we buy then again to get profit. We can hold maximum coins which are profitable. When we need money then we don't see anything and sell them.
Many people are selling their altcoins due to recent market crash.I,m selling when I,m ready to relesr it and ready to take the profit.when I buy some coins I expect to get some profit.so they have not shown their true potential yet.but some are in bubble,so it is better to and buy when they crash.
Because I need money, but I hold a lot of alts actually, depends on daytime and exchange ratings, and the current price of course.
You have to be patient! In the medium or long term, coins will bring much more profit. I do not see the point of selling the altcoins now.

I'm not doing any of that. I am not that kind of person who gets attracted so sudden by some bright things like a good price of altcoin then I will suddenly sell it all. I usually hold the most of it because I know the price can still go higher than ever which will benefit me more compared to what I will gain if I'll sell it too soon. Don’t expect wonders to happen in 10 or 20 days. Even bitcoin struggled in the beginning. Pick some alt coins with good projects and trust them for long enough to succeed. I have LSK, PRG, NEO and XRP in my portfolio. These are coins that have the potential to rise to new heights.So tell me, why are you selling your altscoins so soon?

I think you are right! There is a time needed for project to reveal its potential, so selling coins soon - is a loss!
This depends on every individual. Some people are contented with a x2 profit some are not and waits for x10 for example. But profit is still profit. Doesn't matter as long you're not selling your coins at a loss.

I am not selling my altcoins yet but for people who are selling their altcoins, I think I can take two guesses
They have hit the target prices set for their coins so they are taking out their profits and waiting to buy back in at low prices
They are seeing the prices of the altcoins dropping and they are panic selling their coins

The majority are selling because they're afraid and I'm selling because there's no end to the fall.
I sell my altcoin quickly usually for two reasons. First, because I see great opportunities on new altcoins on the market. second is because I am having an urgent need. If not then I usually hold up to really match the price that I target it, I will sell.
It all depend on the altcoins the people sell. Usually, there are a lot of reasons why others are selling early.Its just that they are wise and use the wavelike pattern in market to sell high then buy low again. Or maybe those people just sell some garbage coin. Its actually their strategy to profit right away instead of waiting for the long long time for moon. There are also people who like to invest into some new altcoins at once. And Ive been doing this also and so far Ive profited a lot already. That is because people see that some new altcoin can give profit. The price pattern in market is not always going up, and some new altcoins with low price may disappear and not give us enough profit.
I sell my altcoins if we are entering to bear season because they are falling very much at bear market. Otherwise I dont sell my any altcoins because I chose them carefully and expecting x3 x5 from them.
