Why most of atheists here on this forum feel so threatened that they have to attack against religious world view all the time?
Are they so insecure about their own world view? Why they are so scared?  Smiley

My only real concern about religious people is that they will group into a 'one world religion' of the type that the globalist new world order types and their minions (e.g., Pope Francis) are trying to cultivate.

In 'religious people', I include those significant fraction of my countrymen (here in the U.S.) who consider themselves atheist/agnostic but who I consider to be of the 'scientism' persuasion.  Most of the 'greens' are distinctly in this category.

At this point I believe that the best hope the country has is that enough Christians hold 'true to their faith' and continue to look to the bible/Jesus/God/etc for their strength rather than to some puppet animated by the corp/gov state.  I personally don't believe in any of that bible stuff, but I observe the reaction toward religion of the totalitarian social engineers of the Soviet Russian and Red Chinese states and believe I see why their policies were structured as they were.  That is, among other things, they seeked to siphon off and appropriate 'spiritual energy' for their own uses (and those uses sucked.)

The Book of Revelations actually talks about a forced one world religion ruled by the anti-christ just before the second coming of Jesus Christ  Smiley

Now, Christians, relax. Going out and destroying the atheists isn't the thing that God wants

Have you read the Bible? God commands you to murder atheists numerous times...

Do you need me to quote the bible some more, or are you capable of doing your own research for once?

You are so silly. Chuckle. I and many Christians have looked over the whole Bible, many times, and never have we found, even once, the name BADecker.

In addition, God never ordered or commanded or directed Christians to kill anyone, not even once. You are so silly.

How can you possibly be this delusional?

Please quit lying... You have already proven that you have not read the bible...

Now you claim you have read it multiple times? Liar!

Doesn't God tell you not to lie? I think it was among those 613 commandments

I commend you. You are doing the only two things you can do. Some other politician would simply go away. But you are using political science to its fullest.

You know that you don't have anything, so you slander me, and you repeat it over and over. Political science to the fullest.

So I've heard in one form or another.

Not being superstitions, I have a hard time believing that there exist 'profits' or people who could see into the future, but I will say that there are some very interesting predictions logged down in various religion's texts which seem fairly stunning when mapped to reality.  I have two main hypothesis on this:

1)  Man's behavior has not changed a great deal for a long time.  This make a situation were a bright person can appear to 'predict' situations which occur all the time anyway.  Example:  individuals achieve positions of power, consolidate it through a finite set of means, then do increasingly shitty things because they can.

2)  Modern engineers designing a strategy to do some of the aforementioned 'shitty things' might decide that rather than trying to convince people of something brand new, it would be easier and more effective to leverage something they already believe due to, say, the teachings of a popular religion.  In this way one might find a number of 'self fulfilling prophesies.'

prophet = profit?  Novel concept...

It's not hard to predict things like war, famine, plagues... those things happen on a regular basis... I challenge you to find a 50-year period in all of history, where there was not a war somewhere

All profit on earth is used up and disappears sooner or later. But Heavenly profit lasts forever, because Heaven lasts forever.

God wants many people with Him in Heaven. If He didn't care, he wouldn't have told Adam and Eve, and Noah and his family, to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth.

God knew people would die. He knew that not all people would be saved. That's why He wanted so many, so He would have many friends in Heaven. After all, God is a Big Guy, He needs lots of friends.

Save an atheist, and God will reward you.

Atheists are promoting the anti-Christ religious rule. After all, Christ is God, and atheists are anti-God. So, atheists are promoting the anti-Christ... many of them without knowing it.

Now, Christians, relax. Going out and destroying the atheists isn't the thing that God wants. It won't stop the end the way that the Revelation predicts. Rather, continue to pray for the atheists, and to show them the error of their ways, so that hopefully, many of them will be saved.

God will reward you extra for every atheist you personally assist in getting saved.

You are intirely welcome to continue to show your ignorance...

The word you are looking for is "entirely"

I'm sorry you are not familiar with the context of that biblical passage (Matthew 5:18), but it has nothing to do with local laws... Jesus is clearly referring to the biblical law of the Old Testament... specifically, the 613 commandments...

God says gays are an abomination and you are commanded to murder them!

If you disobey God... are you truly a Christian?

But, if you follow God's command... you will surely be sent to prison, because God was wrong about homosexuality, and constantly contradicts himself over whether murder is right or wrong...

Fortunately, in the US at least, we have a system of laws which have nothing to do with religion... and if you kill a homosexual, you will not pass go and collect $200, but instead go directly to jail

Show this command for any Christian to do any murder. Rather, it is you who would lie to make atheism look good, and Christians look bad.

God's moral laws are against murder. Since atheists don't have any moral laws, they can legitimately do murder and lie about Christians... by their own legitimacy, of course.

Haven't you read the bible?

Quote from: Leviticus 20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

I haven't ever found the word "Christian" in that passage.    Cool    Why are you lying?

What are you smoking?

Does the bible use the word Christian even a single time?  Anywhere?

Why must you constantly prove your ignorance of anything that is actually in the bible?

The word, Christian, was not even invented until long after the bible was written

I can't really blame you for being ignorant. It's in your nature. Believers were called Christians first in Antioch, easily within the first hundred years after Jesus ascended.

You were the one who implied that the word Christian appears in the bible...

I haven't ever found the word "Christian" in that passage.    Cool    Why are you lying?

1) Did you forget posting this?

2) Where can I get some of that shit you are smoking?

What? Just how ignorant can you, a religion major, get? Don't you realize that there is a difference between the Old Testament and the New Testament? Haven't you realized that the N.T. is about love and salvation through peace, while much of the O.T. is about love and salvation often through war?  No Christians in the O.T. No directives for violence in the N.T.

Are you saying that Christians don't believe the Old Testament is the word of God?
Quote from: Matthew 5:18
For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled

While the NT is slightly more moral than the OT, it still has major flaws... it still fully endorses slavery, homophobia, etc

Why do you ask about what I am saying? All you have to do is read it. You are intirely welcome to continue to show your ignorance and deceptive heart, however.

The N.T. endorses obeying local law, whatever it might be. Why? Because God works through local law to bring salvation to people. If slavery happens to be a part of local law, obey the law. However, as St. Paul says when he is talking to slaves, "... but if you can gain your freedom, do so." How fast you forget your religion training.

How can you believe in something without even understanding it?

On one hand you are stupid enough to believe in this nonsense, and on the other, too stupid to even understand your religious dogma.

BADecker, what religion are you talking about?  Christianity, as established by the First Council of Nicea, right?

Or are you talking about some other Christian sect?  Maybe we are not talking about the same Christianity.

There you go again, making believe you know something about something, while you prove your own ignorance in every word. Sorry. In your case it isn't ignorance. It is downright deception and lies.

Come on, and give up your life of sin, and be saved for eternal life, through faith in Jesus.

Cool

So I guess it is fair to assume that you don't know.

So now I am supposed to know what you are talking about when you don't state it clearly? You don't even know what I am talking about when I DO state it clearly. So, you knock yourself a level below me by your own self-stated ignorance.

Cool

Question I posted is in bold.  Do you know which religion you are following?

The bolded part has to do with the place and time where the false or weak doctrines were removed from the Bible, because they were false or weak. Thank God that He saw fit to have this purging done, so that the truth might present itself to all who want to know what it is.

Now why in the world are you bringing this up all of a sudden? I know. It is simply one of your methods to distract from the truth that atheism is a religion, or that God exists.

God says gays are an abomination and you are commanded to murder them!

God commanded us to spread the word of God to them and love them and all other people on Earth Smiley

Really? Why did he commanded you?

He is a fucking God, he can spread the word himself.  Why he needs you (from everything in the universe) to spread his Word?  Spread to whom?  Muslims perhaps?

I thought Allah is commanding Muslims to spread his word.  So is your God the same as Allah?

Or the same as Zeus and thousand of other Gods, some of which we downgraded to myths???

Which one is yours?  Can you tell?  If you can, how?
