Many investors are saying altcoins are bad because of the experience they had while investing on them, many still lack how to do better research on projects till date because they don't want ti learn but they want to earn, this is why they keep having bad experience
In my opinion, not everyone sees altcoin as bad. one such indication is because a little bit of altcoin is of no value, thus making people bored and frustrated. Moreover, altcoin prices are not stable on the exchange.
Its no doubt that people aren't up for the challenge to start finding one or two good altcoins out of a thousand bad altcoins, on my own side i prefer to keep digging, i never expected anything to come easily, my mindset is different and i belief i will nailed it big
I agree that not all projects are bad, how many people, so many opinions. There are a sufficient number of worthy projects that have established themselves in the market. Always check the information yourself.
Although not all projects are bad, we are difficult to find a good project because there is no right information on which project that can run until the project can finish every phase and reach their goals. We don't know, and we are difficult to select the project because we have a bad experience before, and that makes some of us are very careful to join or invest in the new project. But if we are trying to choose the old altcoin or the altcoin which has a good history in the market, then we might make a profit with them.
Its always best to do some research on a project that you wanna invest to. Dont rush into something you will regret in the future. Thats wasting time and money. Its okay to just be in a project you know you can trust and that will give you something in return in the future.
I agree that not all projects are bad, how many people, so many opinions. There are a sufficient number of worthy projects that have established themselves in the market. Always check the information yourself.
The question is why do some people generalize all Altcoins as bad? considering there are over 3000 of them out there. One would not have the time to go through each project one by one. to analyze the project. team etc everything behind each crypto project.
There has to be some project out there under good intentions. Not all projects could be a scam. I admit I only have a top 4 i consider when it comes to best coins. But yet many should be decent at least honest projects out there. Afterall we do need more projects. more quality projects out there in order for crypto to succeed.

It is a case of different folk, to some all Altcoins are scam and not worth holding for any reason probably because one or two projects they knew about has exited scam or the price of an Alt they once believed in drop in price and yet to recover back to their buying point as a result they see all Altcoins as scam or shitcoins. I bumped into a statement on telegram where an individual argued that the only decentralized currency is bitcoin while others are shitcoins as he believes they are all centralized. There has to be some project out there under good intentions. Not all projects could be a scam. I admit I only have a top 4 i consider when it comes to best coins. But yet many should be decent at least honest projects out there. Afterall we do need more projects. more quality projects out there in order for crypto to succeed.

It is clearly a case of different strokes for different folks.
This can be considered as bad due to more instances that people fall on promises, and eventually it doesn't gather good results for the long period of time. Some project tend to lose hope and yet most of altcoins whose launched after ICO failed so bad. That's mainly the reason why people lost trust with altcoins nowadays.
Most of the altcoins have been potrayed as non profitable coins or with no potential due to the failure of many new projects that have no service or utility to offered to general public and coin will not survive long in the market and thats why they are dead before intialization or listing on exchange.But in actual not all altcoins are bad but the fact is that they have suffered huge dumps over these two years which have undervalued them but soon they will get recognization and prices will pump once again so have patience for them.

I also believe that not all altcoins are bad, some are indeed bad but not all of them some are good and has created for a purpose to solve a problem in the mainstream arena. everyone is entitled with their own opinion. so we should respect that.There has to be some project out there under good intentions. People do not consider ALL projects and altcoins as bad, they just don't feel like trying to find the one good altcoin on 1000 bad ones. For example, nobody really has anything bad to say about ethereum, it is a nice coin, neither for litecoin, eos, and stuff like that, those coins are quite good.
However, when you go out of top 10 and reach to 50's and 100's on that list, it becomes very difficult to know the difference between a coin that is horrible and a coin that is really good. I personally feel like maybe we should focus on improving the current good ones we already have instead of making money for the lowly coins that will probably not be any good at all.
If we paid billions of dollars for the improvement of ethereum for example we would have something insane, instead of thousands of small coins.

not only you, but we all also expect the best project in this crypto space. but other facts say that most new projects end in fraud and maybe thousands of new coins don't have good price development and even feel like dead. in my opinion if you want to invest with altcoin it's better to choose the top altcoin that is clearly on the market and many are using it for long-term investment, at least to minimize your investment losses.

The word we can use is had enough, investors are had enough of so many useless and shitcoins coming and in the market, so we cannot blame many of these investors for criticizing that the market is being flooded by so many bad coins because that is what they are seeing and many investors are experiencing lost from the market.

Let's say I think not all altcoins are bad.At least the ones I know of are pretty good.But I don’t need to know all 3000. There is simply no time for research. Probably most of these altcoins are scams and people of thought of it were victims of this scam. We cannot remove this kind of point of view in a victim but we can at least encourage them that not all cryptocurrency is bad and that there are few that were good and very promising.
Some people, especially on this forum, have an excessively bad behavior towards altcoins. I understand that the name of this forum is 'Bitcointalk' but sweeping away all other cryptos is too simple.
But if he holds altcoin and it turns out that the project is legit then it will be a pleasure to get a lot of profits from his investment with altcoin. And i am one of the people who still hold altcoin until now
as I said, it is all about our personal opinion. I am doing the same thing, I still believe in altcoin even after seeing all of this dump and scam.but calling people that do not have the same opinion as yours as wrong is wrong.
Not all altcoins are bad. But there is a situation. They can't move independently of Bitcoin. I think it always makes sense to have a bit of Bitcoin. Bitcoin keeps the market under a lot of pressure. Robust altcoins can't show themselves.

Definitely not all altcoins are bad because there are still altcoins who makes a such good improvement that makes it worth it to hold them for a long term. It's true that 70 % or 80% of altcoins are not that good for investment, that is why other crypto users used to call them "shitcoins" because they don't have any good value.
