The falling price of altcoins cannot be considered bad because I think it is just the effect of today's bad market that whales continue to control.
And my basis for knowing that an altcoins are bad for us is dead coin, pump and dump coins, scam coins.

that can't be a strong reasone to determine all altcoins are bad coins. have you realized the fact if we are on the volatile market and that makes the price is not stable. I think you must think again about that because that doesn't make sense to call volatility as the main reason why altcoins are bad.

Indeed. lot's of project in 2018 are totally trash but we can't tell all of them are not good. we can see there are project until now still updating and running. why? because of interested investors that fully agree on what they are aiming. @Jocuserious you are right that cmc top 20 list of altcoins are great and good to invest until now and the next years. A lot of projects now are coming and we are hoping that we will see more in upcoming years especially in 2020.

Maybe we are dealing with a low qualification of investors, or lack thereof at all, as a result we make premature conclusions that all altcoins lead to losses, it’s not so, who worked in the stock market knows that a bearish trend can last for years, leading to the ruin of even experienced investors , and in order to save money in such conditions two things are needed - risk management and investment strategy.

Of course there are a lot of promising altcoins.For myself, when choosing an investment, I choose projects according to certain criteria.If I see that the project really solves some specific problems, or will be very interesting for a wide range of people-it is a clear sign to make an investment.So there is no time to be discouraged at all)

Many people think that altcoin is a scam because they have lost money investing in altcoin that doesn't have a good developer. Investing in cryptocurrency has a high risk and that risk will increase if investing in altcoin but we can minimize that risk if we invest in altcoin that already has a product or altcoin that has a large market cap value and large daily transactions

There are reasons, both rational and irrational, to why people think that alts are bad in general.

Obviously it doesn't help to generalise anything, and the alt market is no exception. However ICOs have always had a bad reputation given the sheer amount of unregulated ones out there, and ICOs have injected the most variety of coins into the market during the 2017-2018 period than any other founding method.

There are certain projects that are legitimate and have long term aspirations, but it's not wrong to assume most are simply short term money making tools for their founders.

Many altcoins are useless and their use case are not good enough, this is not the only problem affecting altcoins, team members have a big role to play in the life of a coin and if they aren't pro enough it will fail

I haven't seen any people here say that all the altcoins are bad. But one thing is similar which is they are saying that most of the altcoins are bad. And it's primarily because of how they run their projects and just a copy of another project that didn't even work. When it comes to investing, sticking in to the top 50 is the best choice.

To know that fact that these coins I am holing now have a huge possibility that its prices will pump anytime, I will keep it even the price will dump today cause I know and I believe that I'll paid off in the future.

Bad moment for altcoin last two years always with lower price although bitcoin have higher price last year but altcoin keep dominance with lower price, many thing why can make altcoin keep stable with lower price because not serious team and developer how t manage their altcoin keep on higher price with buy back after their coin have lower price and burning altcoin supply can increase with altcoin become higher price.

The term you use "ALL" is the wrong word used. Not all altcoins is bad, because we all know that every coin has different usability same with their scability so its up to developer how they manage to make the coin more useful to each and everyone. But there`s some cases that some coins / token promote best product, service, and usability but still and up of beng scam.. So we just need to more background research to lessen the risk of being involve in one project

This generalisation stems from the fact that Altcoins are easily attributes to loss of funds on the investors part. Mostly are scam others are proliferated with nothing new. Most Altcoins brings no solution the life.

None of them cares about the technology in fact, the price should always grow - that's the main option here

I think the same, some people had bad luck with some altcoins and they classified all other as same. But it's just their experience, bad experience, and instead to admit their mistake they blame all others. They need to review their actions and to try to do a better research next time they plan to invest money in some unknown altcoin.
