Atheists do not expect any favors from God which is not. They take their lives into their own hands and not spend time on useless prayers. Them do not like the supporters of religion. And the Church cannot get money out of them.

It seems to me that atheists have a better chance of understanding than religious movements. They have no hatred of opponents. But they do not accept those who try to impose their belief without evidence.
I don't know of atheists who have experienced the hatred of religion. How can you hate tales. Everyone knows that Santa Claus does not exist, but all are welcome this tradition. There is no hatred.

I hate stupid people, not stupid tales.

I agree. There is no need to shift the responsibility from themselves to someone else, how often love to do stupid people.

God loves to forgive people. Those who are unwilling to change, He can't forgive. Your choice, but you will suffer greatly for it.

Atheists may understand religion better since they see it for what it really is.

For example. Big Bang Theory can never be proven one way or the other.
And it is likely that Black Hole theory will not be proven one way or the other for a thousand years.
E=MC2 is theory... not proven.
So is the Theory of Gravity (even though gravity itself is used by all people everyday).

Here are some links for you:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tests_of_general_relativity
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clock_drift#Relativity

There are many many more but, as your funny farm friends in the Flat Earth thread are used to say, do your own researchGrin

The Bible has strong scientific and logical evidence behind it... way stronger than the theories listed above. People don't know it because big money is screaming louder than the churches about the truth of the Bible.

Even if the big Bang theory is not proven until the end at least she logically explained. The Bible explains it all very primitive and not logical. I do not understand how you can believe such nonsense.

Atheists are very comfortable with the religion. Some joke. But mostly they are indifferent to religion and believers.
We all have belief you're right some of us are turning into Atheeists and very uncomfortable i have some friend who really hate's religion and keep believing that god doesn't exist well i respect his belief and his indfirrent to us i belive in religions .

Well, it means that each case is different. Some atheists are hostile to religion, and some simply indifferent

It seems to me that atheists have a better chance of understanding than religious movements. They have no hatred of opponents. But they do not accept those who try to impose their belief without evidence.

Science is full of things in which they use weak evidence to impose their beliefs on people. Often, however, it is the media and higher education people who are trying to promote their school business.

For example. Big Bang Theory can never be proven one way or the other. And it is likely that Black Hole theory will not be proven one way or the other for a thousand years. E=MC2 is theory... not proven. So is the Theory of Gravity (even though gravity itself is used by all people everyday).

Yet all these theories are taught to lay people as the truth.

The Bible has strong scientific and logical evidence behind it... way stronger than the theories listed above. People don't know it because big money is screaming louder than the churches about the truth of the Bible.

Let's just be clear, Atheists doesn't mean you're a smart person just because you're an atheist, also religious person isn't always stupid, Tesla was an orthodox christian and also something from out of this world, but this is how I see atheists and religious people.

Atheists as people who don't want to be bordered with the line that someone else drew for them, I, for example, don't want to believe that that's how it is in this world, outside of it and how it was to begin with, I want to explore, research this world, how it all began, what the hell is beyond our visible universe. How can some people be okay with the explanation they are given? I see that as a little ignorant and lazy, this world and the universe beyond it is something that's destroying my mind of us knowing so little about it.

Religious people I see more of a tradition holders, people that find salvation and wisdom in their religion and they are satisfied with it. As I said some of the greatest minds in history were religiouos people. As long as you're not insanely devoted to your religion you're cool, moderation is the key. I can't write as much about religious people because there's more variability in religion than in atheism, every religion strives and teaches their own, but atheism is mostly over the gaining more knowledge while religion is bordered and set's rules in stone.

Personally, I'd rather have a map to the gold... at least until I am rich... rather than have to search all over the place for it.

So I see 2 threads of why islam hates people or why people hate Islam. I dont see the point of such a mundane debate based on religion any debate for or against religion would be stupid. Either you are stupid to believe what a prophet / god / divine entity said or you are stupid enough to believe you can change the minds of the bleak minded people who follow such a prophet / god / divine entity.

But since its fun let me initiate my own brand of 'why do' topic.

WHY DO ATHEISTS (like me) HATE RELIGION ?

Seriously what has to happen in a person's life for them to seriously give up hope on the one true everlasting brand (of religion) which their ancestors have followed for generations.

Everyone has their own story even I have mine, so lets hear some of it.

My point of view maybe because A lot of those kinds of atheists had been religious at one stage and had a reaction considerably the same as an event that causes people to be racist.
Anyway, they end up hating religion because of what religion did to them.
I believed in God but I was never naive enough to be brainwashed into some pathetic religion and used and controlled like some atheists were, so I never grew up to resent the belief in God, yet I still remain rational in my beliefs.thats it.

True, some became atheists because they've been disappointed in religion. But I've became an atheists, currently getting very much into philosophy of buddhism. I've grown up in a family that respected and was very religious, but growing up you start thinking for yourself, hopfully, and when my brother and I grew up a little, we realised that religion is just an illusion and empty talk for the people who aren't willing to think for themselves or too lazy to explore the world and universe outside the boundaries of religion.

I hate religion for the fact that with its help it is far not the best people trying to manipulate other people for selfish purposes. The Church constantly extort money and do not pay taxes.

The atheists never been a hatred of religion. They do not differ with hatred. Atheists are smart people and they just laugh at religious people. Hate applies more to Christians. That they provoke conflicts.

Since science proves that God exists and created all things...

... atheists are in hatred of God without even realizing it. The traits of their atheism prove that they have a religion going there. Look a the full definition of "religion" to understand this - http://www.dictionary.com/browse/religion?s=t.

Loving hate is self-contradictory. You're destroying yourself. However, as much as the world notices you now, so much will they notice you when you are gone.

Cool

Hey, give my hatred back, you filthy thief... use yours, if you have any!  Cool

Can't give it back.

The devil created destruction, because it was the only thing left in the universe that was not already created. But God used the devil's own creation better than the devil could. God is using destruction to destroy itself, and the devil is going down with it.

Come out of your hatred so that you are not destroyed with it and the devil.

Contrary to many beliefs, love and hate actually go hand in hand. Both are in terms of its stance towards the other, a deep and extreme emotional condition. Hate is extreme emotional dislike whilst love is extreme emotional like. Also, just as hate is associated with feelings of anger and disgust, so love is associated with feelings of attraction and kindness. If you have great capacity for one, you are categorically fit for the other, and will likely find yourself in not only one of these states, but in both, though it's highly unlikely at exactly the same moment in time, though quite close to each other though, in terms of the same object, that is; although I would think even such a condition of rapid succession of extreme emotion for the same object would be rare occurrence by itself, as in this case - religion.
