The only reason is the fear created by the states and the necessity to make these payments psychologically. Especially in countries like Turkey very seriously taxation systems available. They are crazy, but it is a system that we had followed and had made some countries gain alot of progress. It is our contribution as a citizen of our respective country. In where I live our community/city is a well funded city. Not a 100% secure but still somewhat ideal city to live in. Beautiful public schools,parks,libraries. Everything is well maintained and we can see the taxes that we paid for being used in the correct way. I would like to use financal indenpendence of crypto currency..
I see your point. How crazy corrupt 3rd world countries are. If they use all the taxes in the correct way then everything will really lift up the whole country.
Maybe because some people are afraid that if they did not pay for their taxes, they will face a big punishment. Some are because they know the purpose of taxes to the country. The government are getting their budgets for the projects from the taxes that the community pays.

Taxes serve for operation of the state, and also and for salaries to the government. Paying taxes is not fun. But in developed countries it has its meaning to it. Taxes are paid so that later on when people go on pension, government will have money to provide these pensions. Also these money is used to employ services that are free for public. This does not work in many countries, but that is the logic to it.

When you live in certain country and you are a loyal and decent citizen you also have certain obligations, not just the rights. And exactly the obligation and duty is something that many people forget and they only claim their rights and benefits.But all this benefits should be financed from somwhere and that is what taxation is for. That is a big simplification. I avoid paying taxes as everyone, but if you do not mind go to some country where are very low taxes and it is not directly tax paradise benefiting from tax evasion and is not rich in natural resources. People paying taxes because people serve by government and I think that why government formed by peoples. Government have obligation to his peoples and peoples have obligation to government and I think thats mutual benefits.

People agree to pay taxes because it is our responsiblity as a citizen of the country to pay in order for the government to build some infrastructure projects for the development of the nation.
Other reasons where our taxes goes are for the benefits of the poor people that the government are helping them specially those who are sick and a calamity victims. If we do not pay taxes our
government cannot stand because theres no fund to be use for some projects and as a salary of the government employees as well.

Paying a tax or taxes to the government is a lawful and rightful duty of every citizen. That makes you a bona fide residence of that country in which you are contributing to the nation-building and development of your country. Paying tax means giving your obligations to your own country.
For me, the main reason why people is agreeing to pay taxes is because it is in the law. Many people hate to pay taxes because it is very high, and they know partial taxes is in government's hand for them to use in their personal needs. And the second reason why people agree with this is because some taxes uses in the development of country.
Of course, people should really agree to taxes because it is a law, and that tax that we pay, we people of the government will benefited, example free hospitalization, education and others.
