It is completely based on the Individual doing these things buying them at high and selling them at the low price. If they follow these they will not make any money on their purchase but at all these based on their intolerance about the market because of their assumptions are always wrong.

Buying high and selling low is considered a psychological fear of many traders. They always believed in investing in Altcoin going up and thought it would continue to go up but soon after it went down and they started panicking and selling everything.

I've been one of those people, the people that buy at the high points of crypto and then sell low, losing my money and then later on losing out on a good amount of profits which I could've made. I'd like to know some of the reasons that people do this, besides doing it to cut their losses as that one is my reason.

Thanks guys!
Because of being panic that is why some trader can buy high in price and sell very low. In my case I will wait for the price to get low in order to buy for some and wait for the price to get high in order to sell my coins. Do not be greedy because this attitude can leads you to lose.

That's why in bitcoin it takes extra patience. There are 2 options you can do when trading
First, if you do not want to suffer a lot of losses, you have to set a limit for losses, for example if your loss is close to 10% of capital then you can sell your coins
Secondly, if you do not want to lose a penny, you just have to wait until the value goes back up. Actually playing trading is very simple, it's just that most people want to get short-term profits.

Sometimes people comes an obsession feelings, and causes into mentality absence. In cryptocurrency business, there are many kinds of people here, with different abilities and ideas. Mostly people who joined crypto business for the purpose of income. But when we start to invest, we must very idealistic and strategic, to prevent any future losses. And carefully watching price movement. By waiting exact time to sell, that surely gain and earn income.

In any business we have a common laws of demand and supplies which determined the pricing.  Following this laws to interpret the state of pricing is what makes you money.  Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies is not different from other businesses. You must buy bitcoin when the price is low and the demand is low and the supplies is high and sell them when the price is high and the demand is high and the supplies is low before you can actually make profits.

All of us have a lot of strategies to eary but i dont think its normal when you buy at high price and sell it in low price, to avoid this problem just please dont do panic selling when the price goes down its normal, price will not down forever, and try to control your emotion thats is one of the most enemy here in trading.

They are doing it because of their fear of losing more money ,
They bought it because they think that they could gain a profit from it and they ended up losing more.

People who buy without a proper study about their investment will lose money on selling at low. Because if a person does a proper study before buying then for some unknown reason if prices go down then those people who believe about the product or coins will buy some more at a lower price instead of selling at losses. That's why you need to do a proper research before investing your hard-earned money.

Panic or emotional imbalance triggers you to do that. Let's put it this way, We have strategies to make sure that we can avoid such things to happen but there are still scenarios that we will be caught off-guard by which our defensive mechanism act automatically without having reference to support the possible decision/s. Like you I've been there before, where I initiated a plan without having relevant information to support it but in my mind, I need to cut losses. We all different reasons, on what, trigger us to sell low, for an instance and one of the most common reasons is EMERGENCY NEED after using it and recover the latter decided to buy again, unfortunately, rates exceed your expectations in result a negative start.

we have different strategies when it comes to such a trend maybe they sell their coins less because they just want to get their investment because they know that they can afford to make a sacrifice so it's okay even if you sell You coins less to make just the money you spend.

People like to buy when the price is rising. They look at the chart and are afraid to buy too late. And they become desperate when the price is falling and they decide to sell so they will not lose everything.

It is not a decision made in a planned way, with graph studies or imagining a long-term scenario.

It is just the reaction of the whole environment around you. It is lack of information, since often when something extraordinary happens, good or bad, the news never arrives completely. First, you get rumors in the forum, in twitter, in the telegram. Then start the news on specific sites and finally the news on reliable sites.

FOMO is one of the reactions that you need to better control, study and understand if you want to continue in this market

Yes there are many people in CryptoCurrency world are buy in a high price and sell it low, there's many reasons why it happened. First they sold their coins because of panic that happened right now in the market. Second there's a emergency happened they need a money for daily and the only way they could sell their coin.

which I see as if you are caught in a situation where while in a large-scale disposal for now, I advise you not to think too much about what you have done. Indeed people will panic when faced with such situations but actually if you have confidence in the existence of bitcoin in the future why do not you just bear it. and besides, the rest I am sure you have at least learned from the mistakes you made not to repeat the second mistake.

Don't be a panic seller. Always do some research before buying coins. To cut your losses, buy low and sell high later. If you saw that the price is high already and you earned a bit, you can sell it rather than holding it for a couple of months without any gain and taking a risk of losing its value again. Don't be greedy. Greed is good all the time but that doesn't apply on trading. I am assuming that you don't have that enough money to hodl that is why you are struggling. We are in the same situation so I kinda understand what it is. If its the other way around, then good for you.

i think they buy in high because of thoughts maybe the price will continue to climb 'cause the market always showing green tagged which is it has a potential to increase. But unfortunately  when there's a minor drop they panic sell (low ) because of their emotions and without knowing that its jus a normal correction of price which is always happened. And to be honest besides of Fud's  that is the common reason also why sometimes  there's a 10% drop of price in the market which is from the "weak hands ".

People usually do this due to panic that a certain investment would suddenly become valued at 0 which is a total loss for the said investors. Ultimately, if an investor is scared of such a scenario, they would cut their losses, but smarter investors just average down their assets to prevent further losses and to also make room for possible profit amidst of deep losses.

Most of the people affected by such a sentiment are those who just joined the fad without studying it thoroughly.

Sorry for your lose, there are some people still stuck about this.
Nowadays, trend on crypto has been changes, in last year we just can buying and hold it and price will increasing much. Since dip Bearish happen between Dec-Jan_Feb and price touching back 6k, many people/investor are worried entering the market.
Many of them creating some group for pump and dumping the market signal. They are looking for short term profit and safe the asset.
So i would be advise you to be more active on some social media and perhaps will looking around to joining the trading signal group.
It's your money, take fully control about profit-lose of your asset. Even you need to take decision by sell-lost, just do-it, but you will have good time signal to buying when cheapest price to make profit.

There's really no other reason for doing this than panic selling to avoid losses. It all starts long before people even buy their first cryptocurrency. Most of those who buy high and sell low (panic sellers) adopted a herd mentality, they followed the majority and eventually they gave in to Social Proof: "if everyone else is buying cryptos, so should I". Since they didn't do a proper research about cryptos to understand how volatility, fluctuation, and the cryptocurrency market works, as soon as they see a dip or red numbers they'll give in to emotions and they enter panic mode as they'd rather sell their cryptos asap than losing all their money. It's all common human behaviour.
