I think the reason why people pray is that we are born religious, we actually believe that God is real and that he is listening every time we pray. Faith keeps us believing in God. And somehow it helps to pray, it gives you a sense of relief.
It's a sign that people are seeking for the guidance and protection of the almighty one.
They pray because they beleive in a higher power that will guide them.
We pray not just because we want something to happen. We pray because we want to be grateful and give thanks to all the things that happened. Praying on something because you wanted a guidance that you are still on the right path.
People pray for forgiveness of their sins and thank our lord for all the blessings that we have. Allways pray, because praying everday makes you a better person.

If I can add, prayer is even much more.
It's direct talk with our Heavenly Father, it's conversation with our Creator.
Through prayers miracles can happen, if we can touch God's hearth.
In the beginning we may not hear God's voice but later, as we develop our hearth and love, we start real talk with God.

Hope, it is a strong and dangerous feeling,

If you really think about it, you are being a total douche when you pray for anything
You are basically telling god... that you know what is best, more than god does
By praying, you are saying...
"Hey god, I know you don't want to give me a new car, but I want it anyway"
"Screw your perfect/divine plan god, I want a new car... me me me me me me, it's all about me"
If it is god's will... why are you trying to change god's will?
Do you really think you know better than god does?
Or, are people just selfish and don't care what god has planned?
Because by praying we show the relationship between us and God, where in the prayer we give thanks for the blessings of God also, we can pray the wishes of our intentions also.You are basically telling god... that you know what is best, more than god does
By praying, you are saying...

Pray is the bridge between humans and God as the creator.
People pray because their brain releases dopamine when they do and it makes them feel good. They're drug addicts.
Why do some people pray? because that would make them feel safer. Somehow they would feel like they have someone to lean on, someone that can listen to whatever they say or they wish.
I think that prayer is not only a conversation with God, but as a means that programs a person to achieve success. It's more like a self-suggestion after which people are able to achieve more.
Praying is having a conversation with God. For me, when i prayed, I am somewhat relieved. It's like all the pain and the burden in my heart is all gone. You should try it some time. To have a meaningful conversation with God.

Only the selfish people pray to ask God for things all the time, Sometimes we have to pray to thank God for the numerous wonderful things that HE has done for us. Prayer is a fellowship between the CREATOR and his creation.

Why should tired of praying, let it live flowing as it is. Life flowing is not there, all in line with qadha and qadar Allah. Among them we are still given the option to determine the best for us. The thing that most knows what is best for us is not this weak self, but God.That is why we need to pray, beg for guidance, guidance, protection. God Himself asks us to pray to Him
people pray because thats the culture they believe when they were born and growing up , and some people pray for themselves , they want to thank or they want forgiveness in their sins or mistakes. every religion is doing that , praying...
People are more selfish because they just want them, I want to be rich lord I want you to be a beautiful lord home.

2) You couldn't change a god's divine plan no matter how hard you pray (can you pray harder?)
3) Telepathic gods don't exist
6) Stop bothering/annoying the non-existent gods with your selfish prayers
Instead of praying, and asking god to fix your problems... spend that time fixing your own damn problems

Prayer is the spiritual need that man needs in his life. Man is the one who needs God, not the other way around. By praying and remembering Allah our hearts are serene, avoid spiritual diseases such as anxiety, fear, anxiety, hesitation and so on.
I agree! In life, people always take spiritual consideration seriously. I believe that! When doing something you always pray to gods, gods or gods for you. Help your spirit more confident. Are you a god? Pray for our lives in peace.Just wont admit we likes talking to ourselves..
Spiritual another meaning for something is out there like a ghost ..
