Becase religion told them to. It's "bad" if you don't communicate with what you believe in
More than once it was said that people go to God only when they are very hard in their lives. That's when prayer begins. Otherwise, no one remembers About what rituals prayer and generally about religion. Only difficulties in life and problems contribute to the fact that a person begins to pray.
Praying relieves human beings spiritually.Thats why, people always prefer pray to a god to demand their unnecessary demandings. I am sure that God dont care about your ferrari or mansion desires.
people pray because of their beliefs in god , praying is praising , they are praising god because they believe in him , some people pray for good health , good life , wanting some guidance or by seeking for forgiveness.
The do it to ask God favors or thank for something.
If you really think about it, you are being a total douche when you pray for anything
You are basically telling god... that you know what is best, more than god does
By praying, you are saying...
"Hey god, I know you don't want to give me a new car, but I want it anyway"
"Screw your perfect/divine plan god, I want a new car... me me me me me me, it's all about me"
If it is god's will... why are you trying to change god's will?
Do you really think you know better than god does?
Or, are people just selfish and don't care what god has planned?
When people pray, it is their methods of believing were they can express their feelings and heart by talking to God.You are basically telling god... that you know what is best, more than god does
By praying, you are saying...

People pray because they believe that the Supreme Being up there is alert and though He knows humanity's problems, He has to be 'formally' asked for something. A new car, superb house, good health, etc. Now, let's pray.....

Well really, you are maybe too confident for yourself. But of course it is a matter of what we believe in. Actually not only the desire that God will give but our wants and needs. Actually we do not need things because God will provide. But if we want to ask something which we wants and pray for it, be atleast specific. I believe in prayer. God listens.

I have known that people pray for luck. And mostly they pray that good things will come to their life and their family. They also pray for God to take them away from the devil, ghost, Satan, fear, anxiety,...
,Yes mostly people are praying for wisdom and guidance, but actually people are praying asking for more which makes them also selfish because they only think about themselves. But actually people pray because they believe in it or they have faith.
Because priests and all those dudes tell ppl to do it and inside church. They don't want ppl know the truth.

From what I have seen, most of the people pray when they are desperate, and are unable to get help from anyone else. They believe that when they pray, they are not alone and god is with them.
When they are desperate, very sick, lonely.. and they don't have a real person to talk with. People prey just when they are in need of something, I always thought that is much better to have good people around you, talk with right person can help much more then any prey or belief.
People are separated this days, technology changed human interaction and I believe there are too many people who are alone without anyone close, and that can be a real problem, humans suppose to be social, to have someone to talk with, sex is important very much for every person. Fulfilled person doesn't have a need for praying.

Actually Pray is the spiritual need that man needs in his life. In the religion of Man is the one who needs the creator, not the other way around. By praying and remembering the creator our hearts are serene, spared from spiritual diseases such as anxiety, fear, stres, hesitation and so on.

If a person prays, it is very personal and is considered the last impulse to something good and the title to help. Only because of this, people start to turn to God, because there is no more to wait for the good.And it was taught by my religion
Yappz ,, indeed we should start looking for god, because we can be calm if we continue to ask foam and pray to God.
Although we do not ask anything to God. God also knows what we need, as long as we have found the god of life we will feel peace
