I dont play dice, not anymore, i believe blackjack or poker is way more fun and it´s not just a number appearing on the screen, there is also real strategy unlike dice which is based only on luck, playing dice would only lead to losing money

BJ has more edge, anyway. Playing BJ isn't a positive EV thing.

And wait.. BJ and Poker doesn't need luck Huh
Cards have numbers appearing on them too. Grin

Edit: I meant BJ in online bitcoin not in RL.

Bj and poker are fun, its not just a random number appearing on the screen, of course they are all negative expected value but it does require some skill, you can have lower edge on bj if you play correctly

single deck has 99.8% expected return, this is what i learnt from oddsofwizard.com, BJ gurus can count the cards, which can turn house edge into minus, so BJ gurus can get expected return over 100%, some tricks can still be used in some casinos, but in biggest casinos have shuffle machine now, and with 6 or 8 decks of poker make house edge higher, although it is higher of 6 or 8 decks of poker, it is still 99.5+% expected return, means house edge is less than 0.5%, when we have good luck, we can earn money from BJ, I have earned over 3 btc from BJ.  Grin Cheesy  And over 10btc from dice.  Cheesy

I used to play dice because i thought i could make profit, stable profit from it, obviously i was wrong, you can't win in the long term, that was my only purpose of playing dice, other than that i do not find it fun or entertaining unless im winning money, i would not play dice if money was not involved, so my question is, why people still play? Im sure 90% of people know what your odds are and that strategies don't work, what is their purpose? Do you guys really have fun playing dice? Watching a number appear on the screen?

Well watching a number appear on the screen is pretty much any online gambling and in fact a lot of offline gambling as well. Sure, they take different forms, but in the end its the same result. Even with lotteries, numbers get drawn, sure maybe a fancy ping-pong ball machine for some entertainment is involved, but in the end they display the numbers on a screen and that's that, win or lose. Same with most slot machines and electronic devices, the random numbers behind the scenes may display as cards or cherry's or take some other form, but most of the time it boils down to some random number being drawn.

As far as your argument that you can't win in the long term that is true for just about all gambling as well. All casinos have the house edge, or they would not stay in business. State lottery's have a huge edge in that they only pay out 50-60% of what they take in to begin with. So unless you are that lucky guy who just bought one lottery ticket in his life and won the grand prize, you will come out losing in the long term. I know people who have won lesser amounts ($50,000-$250,000) and over the long term they have probably gambled all their winnings back.

In the end most people play for the entertain value and "rush" that gambling can bring. If done in moderation I liken it to being no different than spending my entertainment dollars elsewhere. A dinner and a movie, a round of golf, a day at the amusement park, many of these activities will set you back over $100. If you spend $100 a week or so gambling, really no harm done, and even if you lose over time it is still fun in the moment when you do win.

Basically it sounds like you need to find a different game than dice. However, I think most any gambling games are really not that fun unless you are winning money.

well that was a nonsence answer... i think you wrote i just to post

people are playing it because of an easiest way to earn most money out of the faucet they provide

You need to think deep to find it's meaning !!!!!!

When you don't know how to play a game it's clear you loss .

People like losing and never learn the owner is the person who wins finally ....

Its easier to win or lose, it can happen in just split minutes or seconds "Time is Gold" Smiley
I think it has also to do with the simplicity, you do not have to read any guides on how to play the game.
Plus dice sites tend to have more active chat rooms making it more alive.

With dice it is easy to recreate any other gambling game.  Want to bet a single number on roulette, roll at ~3%.  The fact that the game is so flexible is why I think, it seems to be the most popular.

To why people gamble, that's a lot more complicated.  At modest amounts it can be a lot of fun.

Probably because it's the simplest game and the most best edge.
So true. You don't need any knowledge or skill to play dice, unlike card games or even real casino dice, where you have to actually throw. Cheesy

I wonder how much gambling is from deposits compared to faucet earnings.

I think having faucets being connected to dice sites makes it very easy to start gambling as you start building a balance and don't really feel like it's your own money, so it's much easier to gamble with than making a deposit.

yep, I think dice is a little foolish.

It think Dice games are so attractive because they are so easy to use. That "foolish" character determines a lot of the success of these games. Image a really hard to understand Dice game. Not many people will make use of it..

I think the same applies for fruitslots machines at a casino. They are also quite easy, although some machines are harder to understand (with extra games, with a lot of buttons etc). In the end, just hit the bottle or pull that handle and the machine does the rest.

For example poker games are harder to understand, and people who don't have knowledge and/or experience about poker are not likely to start a poker game (and pay some money for it). These people do with Dice games.

I see, but I will maintain the foolish status yet  Grin, the easy of use is a good argument to play dice.

With Bitcoin , gambling has become easier than ever in dice or similar websites
as the process feels so easy, so most tend to come back, just for another roll and another and lose everything over time

Yes, dice sites made so comfortable for users to play these games without any trouble that's why people like to play these games and more over no body can track so easily as well.

not sure everyone likes to play dice game, everyone has a favorite game each such Sportsbook, lottery, casino

yep, I think dice is a little foolish.
