I mean look at what you listed out OP, that alone is enough to discourage anyone who does not understand what cryptos are and I think that is why we don't have as much new comers as we would like. By experience I will say why some people are afraid to invest in cryptos is because of some experience other people have had with cryptos, I know a friend who is afraid to invest in cryptos because of the crypto crash that happened this year, seeing bitcoin dip from 20k to about 4k.
Some people around do not invest in crypto because they do not believe in high profits such as 10 times the profit in a month. They think all that is just fraud and they will lose their money. I agree. I think to sum it up, it's because of the negative things, news and happenings that swirl around the cryptocurrency market day in and day out. It should lol it deserves it, we still have an abnormal amount of regulatory issues, much of illegal activity still involved with btc(but people coming to terms about the good/bad of each society), and also the massive learning curve. For instance; Smartphones, Insane technology improvement right?
