the main fear is definitely loss, and that includes some points you have said, but we should not feel talut because all the negative things can definitely be solved by using the right solution.

This question sounds strange today. It seems to me that the main reason is the huge number of fraudulent ICO.These are:

If you invest in Scam projects several times. Then you will no longer have any desire to invest next time.
Because very often people invest in a scam and this kills any interest to invest again, that's why people stop investing in crypto-currencies, probably this is the main problem of the current market.

but not all that you consider crypto is a risk. those who do not follow the market are stupid. do not follow it if not sure to join invest. carefully join. and not all who make investments have risks. but understand and read before experiencing the risk.
It might have to do with the fact that cryptocurrencies are very volatile, not a lot of people can handle seeing the prices of their investments fluctuate so much in such a short time. A lot of people still think that cryptocurrencies are a scam which is not true. This is one of the things that is scaring them away from cryptos, they do not know what it is so they don't want to take any risks with it.

Exactly, most of people who are afraid of investing in crypto market, probably don’t understand too much about crypto anymore. Crypto, what more, is definitely convenient way to take part in but it required a big risk, and also it can not guarantee them a stable income as well. Especially, they can’t control their feel of extremely volatile. Yep, crypto, which is connect with internet, it goes without saying that most of us are pretty afraid of losing wallet and it is also one of the major reason that make some be afraid of investing in crypto market. 
They do not understand cryptocurrencies that is why they are still afraid to invest. People do not like to lose their money and they are scared of losing their money which is the main reason they are not investing in cryptos. You would be surprised at the number of people who still that bitcoin is a scam and the ones who do not think that, think it is a ponzi scheme that is destined to crash.
There are some people who fear what they do not understand and crypto currencies needs a deeper understanding and not just the possible profit they could gain from it. Most users are afraid due to negativities that surrounds cyrptoverse as well because there are old school investors who think crypto currencies as a joke and no value. These same people would probably invest in crypto currencies once there's another bull run in the market, just like what happened in Q4 2017.

I agree that there were many scam investments platform, but before joining any crypto investments you should investigate at fist. Just to compare it in a sayings that if you to a war without any weapon, then you're capable of being hit by a bullet without even defending yourself being shot. Our lives was dependent on how we protect it, same as our funds used for an investment of a business we should be able to put on the armor so we won't fall off the trap of those scammers online.

yes, your opinion is true about some of the reasons people are so afraid to invest in crypto, it's likely they were traumatized by losing huge amounts of money while trading, or they may have had a coin / token ever stolen by a hacker.

This is a business that nobody controls, no regulations, no legal backing. There is no one to old responsible if you lose your money to ICO.
