People gamble on sports they have the most knowledge on, I don’t think there’s much more to it than that. Obviously you have a much better chance of winning money betting on sports that you know a lot about.
Sometimes we look too deeply for answers but they’re really quite obvious.

We all have our individual preference when it comes to gambling, we decide on what we want and go for it, i am such a person that couldn't get predicted in making gambling sport games decision, because sometimes am being versatile and unpredictable base on my mood or feelings, but i always stick to one as long as i get what i want from the casino i use except on rare occasions when i thought of trying out something different.

All sports are 50/50. In every sports the underdog wins sometimes that is why its a gamble. There's a reason casinos don't have wrestling on their site.
I prefer better on football because it it the sport I am most familiar with. I know so much about football, its rules, players, teams. I follow it up so I know what teams and what players are in a good form or bad form at the moment. Despite me knowing so much about football its still really difficult to win a bet, talk more about a sport I don't know that well.

I also bet on basketball and Tennis, but I don't follow them up as I follow football.

Yes, and some of us grow watching our favorite sports, so at least we have an idea as well specially if we have followed it since when we were young, for example, soccer or basketball.

And now we can just put our bets on that sports based on knowledge and not on someone's advise or tips. It's not that bad to get tips sometimes, but at least we are familiar of the sports that we are going to bet so that we know who to bet to and has a chance to win some money as well.

If it was suggested by your friend, at least you can blame him if his suggestion was wrong, just making fun about it.

But if it was suggested by casino, telegram group or stranger who self pro claimed if he's a professional bettor, you can't blame them because they always themselves with this sentences: "gambling is high risk game" "this is not a financial advice" "no 100% guarantee you will always win" "play with your own risk" etc.

I'm enough with those sentences, it's just make me think if they're not responsible about their prediction and not want to get blamed.

if you have passion on a specific sports, you won't feel drained knowing the athletes and the sports itself. it is much better to bet on the sports you are most familiar with.
if you will bet because someone suggested you to, think about it first as that user doesn't care whether you win or lose such bet. so you are following at your own risk.

It's true that just knowing the strength of one team over another team is not enough to get an edge in sports betting. In my opinion it's not really possible to learn everything about one particular sports in a few days, it takes a long time to really get know a league, the teams and their players. It is important not to fall into the trap of wishful thinking where we think that our favourite team has much higher winning chances than in reality. We need to be critical when evaluating the strength of different teams. And spending so much time to learn about the sport and the league, we really must like it to stay interested long term. That is why I only bet on a few sport types that I really enjoy and played myself in the past.

Certainly, there are specific sports that people love for their entertainment, or because they love it so much doing it at the same time, and sometimes because of popularity and some because it is easy understanding it, and sometimes there are certain aspects of sports to be likable for them to gamble in it, for me I have certain sports that I am betting on I can give certain sports and a betting style that I am doing with it

NBA - surely many are familiar with the NBA and everyone loves the sport of basketball well if you are knowledgeable about most teams in the league certainly for those teams that are entering a certain seed and for me the play-offs is a perfect opportunity for you to enter in betting in it, and right now because the teams are now set to take on familiar teams and if you have certain knowledge about the teams then this will be effective,

Esports - for this certain kind of field there are many to choose from we have Dota, Dota 2, CSGO, Counter-Strike, and many more I think this will also require certain knowledge about the game, then looking at the rankings and picking a side in this one you just have to pick certain teams that have a certain chance of winning,

Boxing - Certainly asking many people in the field about a certain fighter you can get information about it this certain sport we all know many well-known fighters which is why this is certainly the easy one to be the favorite for many gamblers they also put as much money on certain fighters that can show potential in winning,

Of course, I will not risk my funds on one sport that I know nothing about. I find it easier to decide when it comes to betting if we have full interest in our choice of sports. I also like sticking to one or two popular sports like basketball and soccer as well as boxing than trying out sports that I'm not familiar with. It will be a big risk if we'll try out betting on sports if we don't know how it really works not unless we'll have the eagerness to do research and explore other sports.

Not only you do have the knowledge but also you do really have the enjoyment and thrill which you would be able to feel out or experience on and nothing beats out on something that do talks about enjoying a particular

You wont really be enjoying on what you are doing plus when you do lose, then you would be having that regret in your mind and saying that you should have

Betting on a sport that we aren't knowledgeable about is like throwing out our time and money. We could analyze easily if we have full interest in a sport that we are betting on.
