Your choice is not different from that of many of us here, because I personally prefer to bet on sports games than to play other gambling games.
Since I will have the chance to analyze the game and to some extent predict it is a winner.

Most especially in football matches it's easy to speculate the team that will play better in the game just by taking a look at their previous games' performance.

It's gambling when you're betting aimlessly and without knowledge of what you're betting, but when you bet on sports that you've analyzed and you think your chances to win are good then we can call it skill.

Do you mean in boxing or MMA how often do upsets happen it is very rare and unexpected you cannot be sure that a match can end in an upset its real gambling betting that the match will result in an upset, even if the match looks 50/50 good analysis can still predict the outcome.

I agree with you, to be honest Sports betting is more my style than traditional casino betting. I'm not very lucky with the games I play in a casino, and I rarely win significant amounts of money. It's more fun to bet on a sports that you are familiar with and bet on your favorite team to win, though it will not increase your chance of winning but having this can satisfy your personal desire and make you more happy. I prefer to bet more on our local basketball league simply because I get more data compare to other sports and with this, I can easily place a bet. Its good to have your favorite sports to bet, most probably this will be your safe bet.

It is very certain that there are some sport that do favour us well compared to other sports that we may bet on and noy make a good profits from it. We might be good in a particular sport when it comes to predictions and others might choke us when it comes to winning some profits. If we look at sport bet, there are many gamblers that find it easy to predict some matches and make winnings because it is very certain for them that a particular team will beat it opponent.

I know people that can easily make predictions on boxing and they will surely make winnings because they know that a particular boxer will sire beat it opponent without think twice. Sometimes they take there time making research on the fight history of the boxer the prefer to compare the probability of winning the opponent.

Personally, I love to watch a lot of sports, including basketball (local and international), soccer, and boxing.

However, when it comes to risk exposure in betting, I only choose one sport to bet the bigger percentage of my bankroll. In my case, it's basketball sports betting. It's not that I don't enjoy watching other sports, but based on my evaluation, I am more profitable in basketball betting.

I see a lot of people favor Football, because it is one of the Sports that are played globally and it provides a 50/50 chance of winning the bet. (Win or Lose) .... so basically, people prefer to bet on something that are less complicated.

You literally already said the answer in your second paragraph.
I favor one sport because I love it. Second, I have more knowledge about the game than other sports so analysis of the game will be a piece of cake although there will always be times when the unexpected could happen.
Another team will win the game because they are hot and the other team which you bet for is not feeling like it's their night. It happens. Players go through some bad nights too and it depends on how they are conditioned especially in sports like boxing and MMA.
When it comes to skills base, they are putting favorites for a reason, but there are times I love betting for the underdog instead. Emotionally biased bet or I just followed the athlete for a long time to know that he went through disciplined training to win the fight/game.

A very simple reason really, what is the point of making a bet on a sport I do not even watch? Even if I have no hope of becoming a profitable sport bettor by gambling on may favorite sport, at least when I do so I obtain the added bonus that there is something at stake for me when I watch it.

So now I am even more involved on watching my favorite sport and hoping for things to turn out on my favor, but if were to bet in an unfamiliar sport to me, then not much will change, and there is a possibility I could even miss it as I would probably make no effort to watch the sport match at all, despite the small bet I made.

I don't bet randomly on sports. If I were to bet randomly, I'd be gambling on dice, slots, roulette, and other similar casino games. Sports betting, on the other hand, is not luck-based. It is gambling with stats and other information at hand. Bets on sports games are informed bets. So if I were to bet on sports games, I'd be betting on those that I am most familiar of. If I bet on sports games that I don't know of, then I'm like betting randomly, only relying on luck for my wins.

I believe that betting on a specific sport is just a reflection of one's favorite sport.
I love football, I watch a lot of games (in person when possible), I'm associated with 3 clubs, I have an official t-shirt and other things, so why wouldn't I also place bets on my favorite sport?

Those who like boxing will do the same... if the person already follows several fights, why not bet on something he likes?

I don't think it's just about making money or getting an information advantage, it's about betting on a sport that one enjoys Wink

Since we are familiar with the sports, "specifically with the league" itself, we can create a good analysis of what would be the match result should be like. Knowledge of the league is one of the key elements in creating a wild forecast analysis.
