Many argue that one of the altcoins can probably in the future beat Bitcoin and be number 1 in CoinMarketCap. I believe Bitcoin will be never beaten by any altcoin, especially centralized one, because Bitcoin is decentralized, is the first crypto currency created, and worshipers of Bitcoin will increase over the time.
If another Bull run happens, Media will only talk and focus on Bitcoin, new comers in crypto will learn about Bitcoin first and foremost.
I believe in crypto. But I worship Bitcoin. And all the coming bull runs will be led by Bitcoin.

I agree with some points: "If another Bull run happens, Media will only talk and focus on Bitcoin, new comers in crypto will learn about Bitcoin first and foremost."

It does seem likely that Bitcoin will remain number one for at least the short- and medium-term, but it won't necessarily stay there once crypto has matured and become part of everyday life. Current crypto prices are based largely on speculation and perceived future potential. But in the long-term prices will surely depend on utility. Maybe bitcoin will become the ultimate store of value, maybe changes and upgrades will make it the best choice for fast payments... or maybe ETH or another smart contract system will come to dominate the world as automation sweeps entire industries away. I would say the future is difficult to determine, and Bitcoin may remain number one in the long-term, but this is by no means certain.

I think Bitcoin is needed for the cryptocurrency market. Bitcoin is the token that creates the entire cryptocurrency, so it is now the most expensive coin, and its price influences the entire cryptocurrency market, and no coin can shake its position.

I still believe that bitcoin will always be the number one and always be the king of all cryptocurrencies and there is no possibility that any other altcoins can beat the bitcoin. We all know what bitcoin can do to change a life in a person once they have it. And what bitcoin can do do manipulate or to follow all the cryptocurrencies values.

I think all crypto prices are racing against the price of bitcoin, when bitcoin has experienced a huge decline like lately, of course crypto prices will follow it.

Bitcoin is not decentralized, it's mined by the same Chinese dudes that are also mining every other SHA256 and they get to call the shots.
It's the first cryptocurrency so what, how many first-movers in other industries actually remained #1 for eternity? 0.
Last bull run was all about ETH and shitty ICO-s, the only reason BTC pumped was because Ethereum was most easily bought with ETH back then, now more and more fiat gateways are allowing you to buy alts directly.
Worshippers of Bitcoin are not increasing over time, the early adopters are already mostly in Bitcoin Cash, Dash and Ethereum, or just gone from the scene altogether.
The moment one coin overtakes BTC the media will start talking about IT instead of BTC.
All your points are just plain wrong.

Bitcoin is already beaten by Paypal and Visa and Mastercards. If you believe centralized databases are cryptocurencies, then you have to count them in also.
Yes, currently bitcoin was beaten by the paypal, visa and mastercard but we cant compare bitcoin with the mentioned payment system because literally was an asset and currency. However, those mentioned payment system have been in existence before the arrival of bitcoin.

Bitcoin is the first kind of cryptocurrency, it's really affect on crypto market so I'm not wonder this is happening.
Will it keep no.1 ?
Let's see back on 2014, the year I joined when LTC still the 2nd on coincapmarket and the story different after ETH being created and take 2nd position of LTC.
Bitcoin still on the top 1 over 9 years ! So it's difficult to any altcoin to replace bitcoin position except the coin really really have "strong" value

Bitcoin for now and the next few years will still be able to survive being the first in crypto, because bitcoin is indeed the strongest. But even though the strongest bitcoin may not last forever and does not rule out the possibility that in the future bitcoin will be replaced by other coins.

For me, BITCOIN will always be there and generally fact that it is the PIONEER of cryptocurrency. But yes, BITCOIN will never going to be replaced by the altcoins and just check the term. "alt" and "coins" is very easy to comprehend that "alt" means alternative only. Meaning to say that altcoins were created just to be alternatives for Bitcoin in the Cryptocurrency space.

Bitcoin is an altcoin pioneer of the mother of altcoin, so bitcoin will be a history for altcoin that follows in the footsteps of bitcoin and I believe bitcoin will be the leader of the altcoin for a long time.

BTC is really a symbol of electronic money. it never dies, it always exists because there are many funds that exist behind it to be ready to pump its price in the future.
Your belief is not blind, it is right. You should hold longer and wait for its price to rise back to $ 20000.

Yes, in current conditions, BTC can be a leader for a long time. But conditions may change. Crypto is changing fast. For example, a year ago there was an ICO boom, now it is in decline.

There are many factors too be considered before beating bitcoin. If bitcoin was created at the same time with another altcoin, replacement is possible but as op told, you just cant think of an altcoin to replace bitcoin before of being the first cryptocurrency made in the market.

Your biggest mistake.. like majority of the rest of people that think that Bitcoin is decentralized.. how can you call "decentralized" something which supply is monopolized in so high ratio by a few mining groups? this is crazy.  the risk of  price manipulation is unacceptably high
Yes its a decentralized by nature, its just happen that whales are there to manipulate the market and trying to ruin everything. But of course there is still no altcoins that can replace bitcoin for so many reason and not just about being a decentralized market. Many investors still believe on bitcoin, they are still investing so for me, it will still last for more years on top or even forever.

Hanfull miners and exchanges are controlling Bitcoin..
Its not decentralised.. Banks out miners and exchanges in..That was not the plan with Bitcoin..
It turned in a pump and dump coin to make money with long positions and short positions.. Thats why the trading volume is high.. Bitcoin almost failed a handfull exchanges and miners are controlling the price..

Most investors lost there trust and are gone.
