You are not wrong with believing in bitcoin as your flagship coin because bitcoin does have the highest population, you need not hesitate because bitcoin will be able to bring you to have a better financial condition.
Agree with this thread and postings that bitcoin will always remain the number one coin. However, some other coin could overtake it for a few minutes in a big price spike or pump but that won't mean much.
The other coins are so far away that I have great doubts that what you are describing could happen, if the developers of a coin want to surpass bitcoin they will have to do it by building a better coin than bitcoin and not by just trying to hype their coin so everyone buys it, however I will not be against against something like that happening since the possibility to make profits with such a sudden move will be incredible and right now I am looking for sudden movements like that.
Bitcoin is indeed the first coin that exists and until now the most popular coin, Bitcoin has tremendous advantages until there are no coins that can replace it. Bitcoin has scored successful people and is indeed a superior investment asset.

Bitcoin will always be the top in circulation, in my opinion it is impossible for Altcoin to shift bitcoin and become the top of Bitcoin. because until now people still recognize bitcoin more than altcoin.
Absolutely right you are and people are still interested in Bitcoin rather than other altcoins. It is in top in circulation and popularity. Many altcoins are coming but Bitcoin will be unbeatable by others coin. Bitcoin has some especiall technology and much more potential than other coins.
