People trusting bitcoin more than others so its demand and dominance is higher than any other cryptos have,so it maybe enough to say it will stay at number one position for longer period but not forever, anything may change at any time.
Many argue that one of the altcoins can probably in the future beat Bitcoin and be number 1 in CoinMarketCap. I believe Bitcoin will be never beaten by any altcoin, especially centralized one, because Bitcoin is decentralized, is the first crypto currency created, and worshipers of Bitcoin will increase over the time.
If another Bull run happens, Media will only talk and focus on Bitcoin, new comers in crypto will learn about Bitcoin first and foremost.

oh yes, always the whole speculation and no one can really say what will happen. i can well imagine that bitcoin remains the number one, but i am not 100% sure. if bitcoin is no longer the number one, it will certainly cause a lot of swirls on the crypto market.
For now, it's true that bitcoin is number one in crypto, but we don't know the future. There is no certainty that bitcoin will remain the main forever, because crypto is not stable then there is always the possibility of bitcoin being replaced with another coin.
It seems to me that no other coin can achieve Bitcoin results. Based on this, leadership will always be in favor of Bitcoin, but it is impossible not to take into account the circumstances in which Bitcoin can decline not only in terms of capitalization, but also in price.

Almost every icos are trying to beat btc or eth but as far as I know btc will remain at top because no one can beat btc because btc started it all and it will continue to be famous.
Technology-wise, I think there were a lot of more advanced and innovative projects following the footsteps of Bitcoin. Bitcoin built the foundation and all. It has paved the way for the likes of Ethereum, Ripple, and the rest of the cryptocurrencies. But then the younger ones have developed more of what Bitcoin has started. Smart contracts, DApps, etc etc have been developed later on. However, as the cornerstone, as the foundation upon which the entire world of cryptocurrency is built, it will be highly unlikely that it will be set aside, much less forgotten. It will definitely remain the most used and revered one.
As many people have said that Bitcoin is the mother of altcoins so it is very appropriate if we have greater trust in bitcoin. I think bitcoin will remain the number one for a long time.

The same to me, I know the crypto market through newspaper and magazines about Bitcoin and I am very curious then join in to learn it. Therefore humanity will know Bitcoin before knowing other currencies. Bitcoin will not have competitors in the crypto market and it is a trend of the times. For the foreseeable future Bitcoin will undoubtedly remain number 1 crypto currency.I believe two reasons for this

2. Almost all exchanges have btc pairing so it creates massive demand for trading .

Bitcoin is the beginning. and bitcoin is also a major pillar of the establishment of cryptocurrency. the effect on the market is certainly very large. because right now the effects of the decline and also the increase in bitcoin are very big
That is a good point and it's true that more people are knowing Bitcoin rather than any other coin,but Bitcoin can't be slowing down a lot of alt coins now showing a good potential to become a big coin and got good features,for now Bitcoin still unbeatable but in the future nobody can be sure,even the strongest product could falter
of course bitcoin will continue to be number 1 because crypto has been there for at least 10 years, but bitcoin has never been ranked second and continues to be on top, even though so many altcoins have come but will never be able to defeat bitcoin.
For the past 10years bitcoin was able to sustain its ranked as a number 1 cryptocurrency and I believe bitcoin will stay on that as long as this market lives. Altcoins cant stop bitcoin from soaring higher, well in fact they need it so they can also rise and have more investors, altcoins will always be place right after bitcoin.

I also believe that. I am sure that bitcoin will still be the best, with various aspects available, bitcoin remains a major currency for cryptocurrency users. A good level of trust and a growing number of places that accept payments via Bitcoin can be a reference. I am very optimistic that someday bitcoin can become a currency that is recognized globally and even someday there will be a regulation that regulates the use of Bitcoin. Yes, the media will usually talk when crypto currencies become viral in cyberspace, and that's when they talk a lot like oversleeping heroes, because the media feel "that rising crypto prices" are caused by the news they've spread.

The moment a coin/currency/project comes up with a "real" economical use case that requires the coin to run it, Bitcoin will be in real danger of being number 1. We saw it 2017 with ETH: Not much was missing to de-throne BTC back then.
It can happen anytime again in the future, however, maybe it will never happen. This case would be the boring and sad answer, because it'll most likely mean that crypto as a whole did not evolve past its present use cases...

because bitcoin has not yet found any competitions in the crypto market for all crypto were just alternative to bitcoin. Meaning that all of the crypto are just basing on the bitcoin market price movement and thay influence its market price by bitcoin. I doubt also that there will be another coin that will stand against bitcoin since it is still considered as new and it may not look like good to have a lot of crypto competition. Its because bitcoin is so volatile than other crypto currency which common reason why people love it , and because it's the most very promising and reliable to make investment as well. That's why it becomes number 1 and very popular all around the globe.
