I think it is because bitcoin was the very first digital currency ever made and also it has the highest value and up until now it is dominating all the other cryptocurrency. Many people has a lot of expectation with it because bitcoin is known to be one of the best place for anyone's investment. i'm thinking too much about why the bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency in the online world because of this following: one, for me bitcoin have many advertisement so why the online user see this and got interested in the bitcoin second, the value of the bitcoin as of now is really expensive compare to the alternative coins. Third is if you notice the bitcoin, bitcoin is the most trusted digital currency compare to the otehr because other alternative coins was have a many scam just to get earning

Well if you'll think of it that ay, bitcoin is popular because it's been the oldest of all crypto coin so it is only normal that most community have already known it which makes it that popular which unlike other coin that has only been released like a year or two.
