Regulation could lreduce the number of potential scammers here in crypto sphere. But it will also decrease potential ROI in fact - think about it. Safety is opposite thing to high profits Smiley

its hard to recover investor trust because many times they got scam. and now, altcoin its like shitcoin, i dont know where is the best place to take shelter. and someone interest in altcoin drop because of it.
In the world of altcoins, we have almost new projects every other day which is highly lowering the worth of projects in the eyes of investors. Secondly so many projects make it tough for investors to choose right one which ultimately leads to scamming. Fake and shallow projects shall be removed from the market as soon as possible. There shall be some unit that monitors projects for investors and remove nonsense projects from the market.
Well, now all of this is controlled by exchanges, because if the exchange has a good reputation, then it will not conduct a fraudulent ICO on its platform. I also heard that exchanges have such conditions that no fraudsters can get through them, just before listing it is necessary to have a large amount of money to ensure the necessary trading volume established by the exchange. In general, there is nothing more to add to your words.

The crypto world has faced many scam in the recent past .It has make negative scenes to the investor to invest in the project .But i think a real investor never pool back. I think investor are become more tricky to invest on project .They research the project and come out to invest but crypto market lose many investor cause they lost their huge amount of money . I think a real project always found big investor .

good projects are now continuing to raise money, but anyway, after they list on the exchange, they lose their initial value and I don’t understand why this happens

although I agree with you and I also think that the endless scams are a part of the problem
Those endless scams are about 90% of the problem.

The remaining 10% is the fact that most new projects aren't worthwhile to investors or to the problems they're trying to fix.  Most of them are just useless ideas cooked up by people who want to make money for themselves.  The result is usually a token that becomes worthless shortly after its released, and investors are sick of that, because it just keeps happening again and again.

2017 was a red hot year for crypto and a lot of people were sucked into the market after looking at what bitcoin was doing.  I bet a lot of them were looking to find the next bitcoin and of course they were all disappointed.

Its hard to attract investors because finally investors have learn to do more research on projects before investing, they have learn to make use of rating websites and learn from ICO advisors too, no blind investment will ever turn out good in crypto space again, 2017 is no more
It seems to me that the problem lies in the fact that investors who invested in ICO in 2017 and 2018 simply have not yet received any benefit. Also, investors learned to choose projects. The main criteria for the selection are:
1-What is the idea of the project? Is it relevant and useful?
2-Who is behind the project?
3-Tokenomics and financial strategy of the project
4-Does the project have community support?
5-Are there any partners?
6-legal aspect
If at least one of these conditions does not satisfy the investor, the startup will not see money.

It is really hard to attract investors to invest in project nowadays because they lost their trust in new projects due to increased of scams here in crypto, that is why a lot of bounty hunters and investors still complains from those past incidents because they really didn't received any rewards and they waste a lot of money and time. But as of now, I see that there are upcoming good projects that can be trusted, so I think investors and bounty will start to participate in those projects again.

Before investors are everywhere in crypto currency specially mid 2017 but everything change
Ico's started to boom in the internet, you can choose a lot
of ico that you like, but then started to change , there are ico that are scam, running with investors money in a snap, lending platforms also can be seen, the same happens they suddenly disappear
we have already have a very good market if there are no scammers
they change everything, now investors are so hesitant whenever there is a new coin that are good but they opted out because they think its a scam, I think we should find a way to lessen or better eliminate them for good.
it's hard to stop a scammer because we work or invest in something that isn't visible. everything is online, and the team that works behind our project can't find it. we do not see their work directly, can only contact them, and we never know what is actually done, and we can only think positively. if if there is a season where investors stop, for example 6 months and all ico is gone, then there is a new era where scammers are not allowed to make ico, surely it will go well.

One option to avoid scam projects is to move to IEO in large markets, such as Binance and Huobi. therefore there are still guarantees. and investors prefer it. but if you want to eliminate ICO. I don't think it will work. because it has to remove its roots (remove coins based on smart contracts) then it will eliminate current projects. but it can't 100% eliminate the scam project. because the crypto industry is very attractive, especially for technology developers and investors.
to look for pure projects maybe IEO can be the best reference at this time. but to find a profitable project you must make an election in projects listed on the IEO in large exchanges, because not all IEO can provide good returns for investors

Because when entering 2018 many ICO scams made investors start fear to invest their money, and now there is another solution namely IEO but also has flaws when IEO is launched on exchangers that are less popular and have a small trading volume
There's always a flow if you don't know what you are doing with your investment, the risk should be understood correctly in order to be ready if what will happen to your money. Most investors are hard to be attract due to uncertainty of any new projects that being introduced, both ICO's and IEO's
having troubles convincing investors to support them, not unless the project came from big name exchange there's good chance to get something from those kinds of projects.
right, their disappointment at the inconsistent project resulted in a decrease in the number of investors. Investors tend to wait for projects organized by large exchanges, so the opportunity to get a bigger profit. this was actually only based on the trust of both parties

The reason why these projects become scam is because of the bear market and there is nothing between the team and ethereum network that will bind them to have accountability which will force them to continue the project they started. In the bear season, these developers because they are not traders lose the funds when coin prices gradually dried out leaving these poor developers without funds to compensate themselves to work hard. Investors lose trust to projects on ETH.

These were solved in the case of EOS and TRX, the only developers allowed to develop in these platform are the ones capable. Though it made them centralize in a way, it guarantees project will be launched and not just empty promises.

Sovryn - Brings DeFi to Bitcoin
November 13, 2019, 07:04:04 AM
Many decided to invest after the bull run of 2017, and as we know, most lost a ton of money. The reason is horribly banal, the lack of a base and solid knowledge of the cryptocurrency market.
People saw a colossal result, and understood that such a chance should not be missed, and then the market turned around.
I believe that the reasons for this behavior lie in ignorance. Blockchain is not taught at school; until recently, the role of cryptocurrency was extremely doubtful in the media.
But now you can clearly see how the situation is changing every day in the opposite direction.

Yes, people become too cautious. The fall of 2017 was a shock for all, who invested in crypto at least something. I do not know those, who lost everything (my buddies deal with small sums), but I believe that people, who sold their houses and lost soon exist. And there are hundreds (if not thousands) of them. It is too hard now to persuade a person that a project will not at least burst.
That year after, many people loses their hope in bitcoin, they back out their whole money instead of investing again and taking some risks, more and more scam projects arises resulting to many people reported to loses their money in cryptocurrency, government are alarmed in this news and it actually aired in mass media as well as social medias, it creates a great inpact in the society that makes the interest of the investors be gone. they are afraid to lose or to lose more like what happened in the previous year , that is the reason I knew why it happens.

yes, fraud is increasingly rampant precisely in 2018 to 2019 many good projects end in fraud. not only investors who are trapped in poop pits but some prize hunters also participate in the same pits. and in my opinion there is no way to reduce or eliminate it, unless someone doesn't have to bother to get involved in it.
