Last one year hard how to ask investor join with ICOs because they faced with the same situation always lost money in ICO investment, for us an advertiser with bounty campaign so sad because we can't get many coin from ICO, now we hope for ICOs owner want to work hard and make ICO success again where have price above than ICOs price.
The reason why it is hard to attract investors nowadays because they are now afraid to get involved in scam projects again and most of their investment are not worth from unsuccessful projects. It is also the reason why new projects are having difficulties advertising their coin because there are only few investors are left than last year in the year of 2017.
I think the easiest way to change this fearful situation is to move on and create another good hype

Since the crypto market got hyped a lot of scam project appears that led for investors to lose their interest and also because of the market down trend their portpolio hurts too so I guess that most of those investors stop participating on any new project these days because of their past bad experience.
This decline in trust was a result of last year where cryptocurrency was experiencing a setback in terms of its demand. many aspects are the reason why investors are no longer interested in unclear investments and also they already have a lot of experience
well 2017 has a lot of hype for the ICO way back then but now the image of the cryptocurrency is bad due to the scammers most of the ICOs are scam and it is hard to find a decent one but today a lot of investors are investing to IEO maybe you can check it so if you want to invest
With so many ico scam projects happening in 2017 and 2018, of course investors will think if investing in ico projects will be very risky losing money, maybe that is the reason investors start leaving ico and move to invest in other ways, such as trading, ieo and others which is considered profitable and but certainly the security of their funds is a top priority for them before investing
It's not the fault of the investors, it's the fault of those scammers that crowded our community. The early investors who made profit were good with it but those who failed and don't want to commit mistake again because of the experience they have, don't want to try again.
They can opt for a newer coin if they want to but it's all about the lesson they've learned. We can't pull them back here unless they'll do it willingly.

maybe if you want investors to be interested again there must be a system that can sort out a project that is feasible to publish their token salas for example create an audit team that is truly credible to audit a new project that wants to hold a token sale so that it might be able to minimize the scam project and investors will be interested again.

It's so hard to attract investors because of all the scams that happened back in 2017.
Looking at ways to lessen or eliminate scams is good but i believe the only path towards it is education and awareness. We can do our part in this by being more vocal and critical about new ICOs/IEO/ITOs that come out. Any red flags should immediately be pointed out and the general public warned if we are ever to expect investor confidence again.

We cannot compare 2017 and 2019 because they are very different. There are many investors way back 2017 because of the hype of ICOs that gives too much ROIs while 2019 are almost have scams/frauds project that didn't deliver what was promised. Crypto currencies have a really bad image at the moment, a lot of scams are around, Bakkt exchange have failed to attract new investors, the whole market in general is not raising, so people do not see the reason in investing right now.
For now I think there are only 2 big opportunities for crypto investors to invest and make profits. First, I think STO, STO itself is quite trend in the last few months so many people are interested. Then there's IEO, which in this case is quite popular and there are some of the projects that sell quickly even without bounties. ICO still has potential, but only a few are able to penetrate targets. Evidently there are only 45% of the total survey conducted to achieve it.

The answer is simple, because scam and fraud projects were stealing investor's money in the past.
Investors won't come because they dont want to experience the same thing again.

The investor (professional) goes where they see profit and the opportunity to make money guaranteed. As for the ICO, many have lost money in these companies and are probably afraid to enter them. However, I am sure that investors come, but only to good projects, which are very few and which we may not even know about now. Compared to 2017, there is now stagnation in ICOs, moreover, the market has become larger and competition has become greater, and investors are still mostly afraid to invest in crypto projects.

There was a time when even shit projects will attract investors and at that time they will still be profitable for investors because market condition of that time is fair, people expected things to always remain like that and many aren't fully prepared for whats happening presently
The major reason for investing in any business is for the sake of profits. Overtime, the profitability of investing in ICOs and IEOs keeps declining. This makes it less appealing for investors. No one likes to lose money.
Simply but essential as investors are aiming to get something out from their invested money. Most of the projects right now is no longer appealing, the trend of investing with ICO's or IEO's is being judged from how those previous projects turned out. There's a need of new sets of ideas, things that never been seen from the market and not just a copy from existing project which only lead to nothing but just pump and dump project.
